Chapter One

Kong XueFeng struggled with his current situation. After dying by being hit by a truck, he gets transmigrated into the past of his family history, and the thing is that he isn't in his own body, but instead, he is in his ancestor's body, the original Kong XueFeng! But the thing is that Kong XueFeng is supposed to be dead! Dead, he tells you!

The original Kong XueFeng was a sickly boy who suffered from a weak body, one which could not support his golden core and cultivation, and that supposedly decided his fate. But that's what everyone was told or known from rumors. No one knew how he died and only assumed that his death was due to his weak body and failure of cultivation. Though Kong XueFeng can tell you that his ancestor, the original Kong XueFeng, never cultivated, not even once in his life ever. His family never allowed him to develop due to his sickly body and feared he would die (and ultimately even without cultivation, he still died). So it only leads to two other reasons. One he had decided to suicide or two, someone had killed him.

One seems fair because, after all, being born with such a body into a family full of great warriors and powerful cultivators, one would see themselves as a failure and kill themselves. But the original Kong XueFeng wasn't a sad or depressed person, from a historical document in his family history, the original Kong XueFeng was a happy go lucky person who likes to joke around with others. He wanted to have fun instead of trying to look like a sick person who stayed stuck within four thin walls with nothing to do, and Kong XueFeng wanted to go out and live his life freely. His family, even though they feel like it was dangerous for him to go outside, they never stopped him but instead asked him to go out with one of the guards. Kong XueFeng had spent his 14 years suffering from his illness but never once had anyone saw him be sad and depressed over his illness.

Two didn't seem to be right because after all, Kong XueFeng in his lifetime had never made any special appearance like his other siblings, instead, he was always trailing behind his older and younger sibling's shadow. He wasn't that well known as his other family members, but he had never tried to be known. It was more like he liked the simple life and didn't care if he was famous or not, so it's unreasonable for someone to kill him though, at the same time, it was reasonable too. Kong XueFeng though was a relatively loud and weird boy; he never made enemies because he thought that violence wasn't need and made a lot of friends through many people. But with this, people saw him as a weak person who won't fight back even when threatened, and at the time, his Clan was a mighty clan that had raised to the top after being ignored for so long. So killing he would the easy target in the Kong Clan, then moving on to the next family member as they mourned over his death.

Kong XueFeng sighed, rubbing his head from the big headache he was getting, and he felt like this body was sicker than anything. Also, he has a question on how these people were able to keep the original Kong XueFeng's body so well preserved all these two years the boy is supposed to be deemed as dead! Why didn't they just buried the young boy into the ground?! It would be so much better for him!

Kong XueFeng moved his legs over the bed and pushed himself off of the bed. His younger sister, Kong ShuRen, had left him to greet their other family members who had come back from a trip. Kong XueFeng didn't know how he will react to them when he sees them because, after all, he isn't someone who knows them even if he is in the body of the original Kong XueFeng. He felt that it was so unfair on the boy that he had died and couldn't live long enough to cure himself because in his family history, ten years after Kong XueFeng's death, they were able to find a cure for his sick body, but that was already too late because he was no longer alive anyways!

He had taken a look at the original Kong XueFeng's room, and it looked so neat, guess our boy here was a neat freak. Though every item in the room wasn't very high class making some people wonder if Kong XueFeng did belong to the powerful and wealthy Kong Clan. Everything looked so simple, and Kong XueFeng wondered if his ancestor was a humble young man who didn't care for riches like others. He hummed softly after taking a good look at the room, then made his way towards the door. The moment he opened the door, he was greeted by a very blank-faced man with long dark hair down to his butt, not that Kong XueFeng was looking at it. He wore a white and light green robe, and his long black hair was tied into a high ponytail with light green rode tying it together. He had a sword in its case hanging from his left side, it was designed nicely was a white dragon on it, and at the tip of the handle, a charm hung from it. The dude's facial features were sharp (and Kong XueFeng swear he wasn't fangirling over those looks of that unknown man), his eyes were blank as hell, and Kong XueFeng wondered if the man was alive.

"Younger Master Kong, you're awake," His voice wasn't intense like Kong XueFeng thought it was gonna be instead, it was a smooth and nice tone. Kong XueFeng had to admit that it was hot, but he's straight a metal pole, so he doesn't swing that way at all.

"Uh… My apologies, but who are you, may I ask?" He asked, trying to sound conceiving as the original Gong XueFeng would say. Usually, he wouldn't have that type of speech, and his speech would typically be like; Who the fucking hell are you?! But he couldn't say that in this situation considering that he might offend someone and get his head chopped off!

"No, it's my fault Young Master Kong; I should know that you weren't well and just woken up." The seemly older man apologized, giving him a formal bow before standing straight again. "I'm your guard; your father assigns, I'm Xiong Guo."

Xiong Guo… As in Xiong Guo, the older brother of Xiong Meng, a freaking scum villain of this past!? The hell is this man doing here for?! What the hell is going on here? Isn't Xiong Guo supposed—well supposedly had disappeared!? That's invalid now since the man is literally standing in front of him right now.

Xiong Guo the older brother of Xiong Meng was known to have disappeared the moment the war between the Xiong Clan and Long Clan begin. People said he was a coward and didn't face his enemies like a true hero. Though at the same time, no one really knew what the Xiong Clan was doing anyways, they had only blamed the Long Clan for the loss of their family member and thus a war raged between the two clan. The truth is that the Xiong Clan had been doing evil deeds behind everyone's back and to cover it all off, they played the victim. They blamed the Long Clan for killing a family member, resulting in a war between the two and that was an excuse for them to capture the Long Clan and their respective symbol, the dragons.

Kong XueFeng has no idea on why the Xiong Clan did what they did but they were the most hated clan of all time and Kong XueFeng is sure, at this current time the Xiong Clan is still rising up. Their current leader should be Xiong Meng since his parents should have died in the hands of Long Feng at war. With Xiong Meng as leader, he was way more ruthless than his parents; killing every long member, hanging them out in public to dry, used their children and women as slaves and the men basically are tortured to death. His parents never done this, sure they had killed many Long Clan members but they had never done what Xiong Meng has done.

Kong XueFeng face scrunched at the thought. Xiong Meng is truly a horrible scum villain who doesn't care for anyone. He then looked towards Xiong Guo and the man doesn't seem like a bad person at all. Even though being siblings with Xiong Meng, Kong XueFeng can see that there weren't an ill intention within those dull eyes. Doesn't that sound convincing at all!

Xiong Guo saw how Kong XueFeng scrunched his face, worried he asked, "Young Master Kong? Is everything alright with your body?"

"I should be dead."

"What?"

"Hmm? Oh nothing,  Xiong Guo." He looked at the other male, giving off a wide smile before stepping out of the room and Xiong Guo stepping aside for him. "I want to get some fresh air. Xiong Guo, you wouldn't mind coming with me right?"

"It is my duty to watch over Young Master Kong." Was the other male's reply.

Kong XueFeng figures that much. Xiong Guo looks like a loyal man and acts on it too so his response wasn't surprising. Xiong Guo, just 20 years after his disappearance, appeared again in the Long Clan which turns out that he had served Long Feng for so long but his loyalty to the man only got himself killed by the very person he trusted. Long Feng even though knowing well that Xiong Guo had done nothing but good to him, he couldn't let go of that hatred he felt towards the Xiong Clan and killed the other. The two were known to be sworn brothers but that obviously didn't stop the hatred within Long Feng's heart. Some people had spread rumors about the two, saying that they were more than just sworn brothers but that they had feelings towards each other! And that Long Feng went crazy after the death of Xiong Guo because of the pain he couldn't handle from killing Xiong Guo. Though no one would know the truth between the two but the two people who experience it themselves.

Kong XueFeng stared quietly at the dead weeping willow tree in the courtyard of the White Lily Manor. The White Lily Manor was the original Kong XueFeng own place given by his father as a gift for his 13 birthday and the boy sure did loved everything about the manor. It was next to a field of pretty white lilies growing on the back courtyard of the east side of the land but the one thing the original Kong XueFeng enjoyed the most was the beautiful weeping willow tree in the middle of his court yard. Kong XueFeng had no idea why the original Kong XueFeng would enjoy a weeping willow tree but the boy just did. The original Kong XueFeng was a boy full of mystery.

"Xiong Guo, can you tell me what has been going on since I… died?" He asked the other male, not looking back once to the other and keep staring at the weeping willow. He wanted to know what was going on during his time when the original Kong XueFeng was supposedly dead.

Xiong Guo looked at his younger master's back, his young master had never really asked much about the outside world other than if it involved his family but maybe his young master has changed since then. "A lot has happened during the time you were supposedly dead."

Kong XueFeng hummed, "I see. What was it then?"

Xiong Guo hesitated a bit then spoke, "My younger brother, Xiong Meng, has changed a bit. He's no longer as ruthless as he was before and he had released all the captured Long Clan members and their dragons. He also gotten rid of almost every member and disciplines under the Xiong Sect. I think Xiong Meng is turning good or… seemly looks like it."

Kong XueFeng faced turned into a confused one. What? Xiong Meng turning good? Impossible! The man is a scum villain who plotted the original Kong XueFeng's death! He plotted many of original Kong XueFeng's families death too alongside other clans. How can this killer suddenly turn good! What the hell is going on for real! Also he still had that question on why Xiong Guo was here too?! Shouldn't the man be hiding in the Long Clan instead of here? He did served Long Feng for more than half of his life time!!

Kong XueFeng cooled his mins from all the chaos going on in there, turning around to face Xiong Guo. "What do you think he's doing?"

Xiong Guo, even though his face was blank, had his complicated look in his eyes which Kong XueFeng can tell. "I don't know, Young Master Kong. I really don't know."

Kong XueFeng stared at the older man. He felt like the older man seemed more variable than he was, maybe because it's his own family and it's very complicated for him to choose a side. But he also couldn't trust his younger brother either.

"That's fine, Xiong Guo." Kong XueFeng never really expected the other male to understand his own brother anyways. "What else had been going on, other than that?"

Xiong Guo shook his head. So the only thing weird around here is Xiong Meng but why does Kong XueFeng feel like there's more than just that?

Though Kong XueFeng couldn't dwell on the thought for long because one discipline run into the courtyard huffing out of breath. He stared at Kong XueFeng like he had seen a ghost or something scary but shook that thought away.

"Young Master Kong, your presence is requested to the Star Manor!"
