2 Meeting The Overseer

Alex suddenly open his eyes and all he could see is nothing as if he is in the void.

" Is this what it feels like to die"

Alex begin to look around and reminiscing about his life before death.

He was an orphan since he never meet his parents, but because of his brilliant mind he was able to get scholarship throughout his school life and later graduated from Harvard .He later invented a lot of cutting edge equipment on medical field and also household appliances.

After working for some years Alex made a lot of investment which made him into a billionaire, but Alex wasn't really a type for parties and politics, even since he was young he has always been interested in martial art and also helping people but he's not the vigilanty type so that's why he use majority of his money to help a lot of people all over the world especially orphans since he knows what it feels like to be one.

Alex has also always practise martial arts since middle school from an old man who owns a dojo close to his orphanage. The old man took him as a student because of his will and also his comprehension capacity, he was able to learn everything he was thought easily. after graduating from college and finally establishing his business which doesn't need him much anymore, Alex decided to join the military since he feels he could help people more that way and his martial arts talent won't go to waste that way.

After finishing his military training Alex graduated top of his class and later join the FBI. He work for them for a long time and travel all over the world to also help people his only cons is his unwillingness to take human life which always put him in trouble most of the time with his superior but that doesn't seems to matter to him.

Alex train to the extreme in martial art and in human biology which helps him in catching a lot of the world most wanted and brutal criminals, he believes that death is too good for them so he always crippled and render them useless and hand them over, this gives him a sort of reputation. so the bureau established a unit and made him the head, their job is to travel the world and apprehend notorious criminals alive since they know how he values human life anyway and he always says death is a blessing and these criminals doesn't deserve that blessing

Alex never got married because of the nature of his job but he adopted a lot of children over the years which he cares for and gave the best of everything. he later retire at the age of 47 and enjoy his retirement with one of his childhood hobby of watching movies and animations, which brings him back here.

Alex doesn't know how long he has spend in this place so he just decide to meditate and clear his mind. After what seems to feel like infinity he felt something but was interrupted by a sudden change in the scenery and then here's a voice.

"Hello my child"

He voice said in a loving voice that will give anyone calm of mind

Alex: Hello, who are you

???: My name is #?*&*%

Alex: what??

???: sorry mortals can't hear that just call me however you like

Alex: alright I will just call you Overseer

OV: it's been a while since I have seen such a pure and talented soul like yours. even though you only spend a few thousand years in the void you were able to comprehend a bit of nothiness law.

Alex: nothiness?? so that was what that feeling is called. so what's gonna happen now.

OV: ohh...., you didn't even ask of where you are or how you die and panic.

Alex: well.. it's pretty clear I died and what's the point of panicking, when i was alive I always live my life like i won't wake up the next day.

like I always said to people death is but a blessing so we shouldn't be afraid of it. And moreover i live my life the way i wanted and didn't have any regrets so the next thing is to move on to the next stage.

OV: humm....well said...

normally a soul like yours should be said to heaven but I have a better deal for you.

Alex: What deal?

OV: How about I make you an apostle

Alex: like prophet or something, am not really a fan of preaching around though...

OV: Not that kind of apostle, it's the kind that travel around the real multiverse and help people as well as clear some certain evil.

Alex: But isn't that like a very dangerous job

OV: don't worry I won't send you without giving you what you need to survive

Alex:hum...so what do you mean by the 'real multiverse' isn't it the same all those multiverse in novels and anime or sumthin

OV: ohh....that not the real multiverse my dear. most of those mortals are people that takes human life like they are the one that create them, they act like judge and execute people however they like you don't really expect me to send them to other world with those dangerous powers and mindset now do you.

Alex: so where are they send...(I have a bad feeling)

OV: You see the multiverse is divided into two the real multiverse which comprises of real people like your previous world and then the puppet multiverse which are made up of mainly Android's or puppet altogether no one can tell the difference not even them. The only difference between them is that the people of the main world only relate to the outline of the stories you read in your world as movies and anime majority of their life is not portray unlike the puppet multiverse where 100% is the same as the story line you read.

Alex: so everyone is sent to the fake multiverse then?

OV: not everyone, apostle like you are send to the read multiverse since it's not a story so there is no such thing as plot armor so they are task to be the one to save the world and also it's forbidden to tell people about been an apostle even your love ones since no one can know the existence of multiverse.

Alex: What happen to the people sent to the fake multiverse.

OV: They became puppet like the people there as well and most of them becomes puppet "god" and rule over that world since they always have prior knowledge about those world's.

Alex: so can apostle becomes"god" as well.

OV: There is only one God which is me although to the people of those world apostle are god since your powers are unmeasurable and a peak apostle is the highest you could reach.

Alex: so apostle's have rank too

OV: of course, and the decendents of the early apostle are mostly the small gods like those in the multiverse like Zeus and their parents and children's.

Alex: so gods like Zeus are just the early apostle decendents.

OV: yes...long decendents infact so let's start are you interested

Alex: Yes it seems better than just sitting in heaven

OV: Good I will be the one to choose your first world as well as well background but you will be the one to choose the power you want

Alex: alright can I know the world first

OV: hum...Your first world will be DC as Diana twins brother

Alex: I thought males aren't allow there won't I be killed after been born.

OV: Don't worry you will just be imprisoned from the far reach of others and that will give you time cultivate your powers probably to the peak because peak apostle are almost non exist nowadays.

Alex: Alright then...,...then I want a small world of my own where I can do anything inside

Also I want to have the best talent in everything including cultivation as well as law comprehension.

I also want all novel as well as anime resources in my world including experience orbs, skills etc that's all.

OV: That's smart of you I see you choose cultivation path, with that you will probably reach peak apostle before the first disaster in that world if you work hard, alright your request has been granted.... farewell my child and try to enjoy yourself along your journey

Alex: Thank you and I will...

Then everything well dark again for Alex only the Overseer remain

OV:What a good child I hope they can meet each other soon they are the last apostle anyway..
