22 Start of the Internship
A week later, Tang Hao changed into his hero costume then waited outside at the front gate of his house to get picked up by Ling Mengyu and her mother. During the week, Tang Hao had exchanged numbers with Ling Mengyu and he texted her his address as he agreed to joining her mother's hero agency for the 1 week intern
As he waited, Tang Hao took off his mask and left it hanging by his neck. His next door neighbor who he sees every morning during his running, an old widow who walked her dog daily walked by, seeing her Tang Hao greeted and said "Good morning Maam, oh and your dog too." as he pet the dog. "Good morning, Tang Hao." she replied
After petting the old woman's dog, she continued her walk as Tang Hao stood there for a few minutes before a white Mesarati with the car plate 888 888 parks in front of him as the front window is lowered, the silhouette of a familiar yet peerlessly beautiful woman who appeared to be in her 30's at the latest appeared. "Get in the car." the woman said in Chinese
"Good morning.." Tang Hao replied as he walked to the other side of the car and opened the door to get in. "Morning Mengyu." Tang Hao said quitely as he put on th seatbelt. Ling Mengyu sitting in the backseat of the white Mesarati with her hero costume and reading a book turned around and nodded before diving back into her book. Ling Mengyu's mother instantly stepped on the pedal as soon as Tang Hao put on his seatbelt.
Sitting in the backseat of the Mesarati, Tang Hao peered through the window silently. The silent atmosphere made it somewhat uncomfortable for Ling Mengyu's mother as after a while she said to Tang Hao, "I saw your fight against Mengyu, you did pretty good seeing that you lasted that long considering your inferior cultivation level."
"Thanks." Tang Hao replied as he turned around to look at the rear view mirror in the middle of the two front seats. "I'm Lin Lan, this week you'll be with Mengyu and I. My hero agency is in Yokohama so this will take a while." Ling Lan said to him
"Yokohama? That's pretty far..." Tang Hao replied as he begun to think to himself, "Yokohama?? If I were to get to Hosu where Stain and the Nomu are, I'll need to catch a bullet train earlier if I were to make it."

After an hour or so, Lin Lan parked the car inside a 10 story high building as she got out. Tang Hao and Ling Mengyu did the same and followed Lin Lan inside. Walking inside the building, Tang Hao looked around as he tried to locate the agency's name. After walking around for a bit, the trio went into an elevator and went up to the 9th floor
Ding* As they got out of the elevator, the three are greeted by a dozen or so butlers and maids who formed two lines and bowed down whilst saying "Welcome back, Misstress, Young Misstress and Misstress's guest!"
Seeing the maids and butlers greeting him, Tang Hao smiles wryly as he follows Lin Lan into her office. Inside her office, Lin Lan takes off her fur coat and leaves it lying on a couch in the office, she then sits on her chair in placed behind her desk that is in the top middle area of the room and calls for a maid to bring in snacks. Ling Mengyu sat on the couch and continued reading her book, whilst Tang Hao sat down across from her and looks around the office
Knock Knock* "Come in." Lin Lan says as she goes through some documents, a maid who appeared to be in her early twenties walked in carrying a tray filled with cookies and fruit and a fresh pot of black tea. The maid then placed it on the table in between the couches in the office then bows in front of the door before leaving the office
"Enjoy." Lin Lan said as she continued going through some documents, Tang Hao sat there awkwardly as he picked up a fork and put a piece of mango in his mouth and looked around. As he looked around the office, he noticed some paintings from famous artists as well as trophies and gold medals inside a cupboard. He then got up from his seat and walked up to the cupboard to look at the trophies, many trophies for many types of martial arts could be seen placed neatly inside the cupboard without a speck of dust. As he kept walking, he noticed a picture of a beautiful young woman along with a handsome young man standing there with a baby placed between their arms as they posed and smiled for the photo
Of course the woman in the photo, is Lin Lan, the baby is Ling Mengyu and the young man would naturally be Ling Lan's husband and Ling Mengyu's father

After half an hour or so, Lin Lan strecthed before getting up from her seat and grabbed a suitcase and her coat before saying to Tang Hao and Ling Mengyu, "It's time to go." Nodding their heads in agreement, Ling Mengyu and Tang Hao got up from their seat and went out the office to recieve fairwells from the butlers and maids before getting into the elevator and going back inside the Mesarati
Inside the Mesarati, Lin Lan said to Tang Hao as she drove, "Today, we will go around patrolling around the major banks and shopping malls in the area. There may be a couple villains but don't have your hopes up." Hearing what she said to him, Tang Hao replied "No problems, Maam."
After driving for a bit, Ling Mengyu and Tang Hao got out the car as Lin Lan went to park her car and change into her hero costume
