16 A Shocking Win
In the last five minutes of the second round, every team gathered around Tang Hao's team surrounding them in a circle. Todoroki then used his ice to create an arena around the two teams blocking off everyone else
Kaminari then use his quirk at 1.3 million volts however Tang Hao's lightning countered it rendering it useless. Iida then prepared to have an all out charge at Midoriya to steal the 10 million point headband. Tang Hao thought to himself "In the original, Midoriya lost the headband to Iida's Recopro Burst, this time with Mengyu and I it won't happen!"
As soon as Tang Hao saw Iida, using his spiritual sense he instantly dashed sideways as Iida past by. RECIPRO BURST! Iida shouted. He then looked to see if his team had the headband "What! They dodged it! That was my fastest burst of speed! This..."
Tang Hao glanced up to see the 10 million point headband still on Midoriya then jumped in the air along with Ling Mengyu as the timer ran out. "Times Up!". Tang Hao's team kept the headband and stayed at the top of the Sports festival, this time however Midoriya didn't need to use his quirk on Todoroki so they didn't end up talking and neither did Midoriya learn of Todoroki's childhood
The final 16 contests then advanced to the final round which were one on one battles. Before the final round started, Ojiro of class a and another student who teamed up with Shinsou dropped out due to their pride, allowing Tetsutetsu and another student from class b to join the final 16 A total of 12 students from class A alone were in the top 16. During the first round, Tang Hao, Ling Mengyu and Midoriya each had different opponents with Midoriya facing Shinsou in the first round and Todoroki in the second round
Tang Hao thought to himself "hmm with Mengyu and I in the top 16, Aoyama and Ashido who were supposed to fight were taken out. Mengyu's first opponant is Kaminari whilst mine is Shinozuka who was supposed to fight Kaminari in the original."
Tang Hao and Ling Mengyu then went inside to regain their qi before the first round between Midoriya and Shinsou started

After a while, Midoriya came out victorious from the match against Shinsou with two fingers on his left hand injured and a blood nose. Shortly afterward Todoroki had his match against Sero and came out victorious and created a gaint iceberg on the stage before the third match between Tang Hao and Shinozuka started
Tang Hao hearing that it's his turn got up from his cultivation state and calmly walked to the stage, his opponant from class b had hair which were like vines which she used to fight. As the round begun Tang Hao appeared in front of Shinozuka and made a barrier of qi and pushed her out of the arena before she could react ending the match instantly
Midnight who was stunned on the spot, Tang Hao said to her "Um I won right? May I go back now?". Midnight regained her sense and replied "Winner of the third round Tang Hao!". The crowd suddenly become rowdy due to his instant win
The scene was replayed slowly in sixty four times slower speed which barely showed Tang Hao's shadow which pushed out Shinozuka however noone could figure out what he did to push her out. Midoriya who was watching said to Tang Hao as he came inside "Tang san.. How.. did you do that?? Isn't your quirk lightning like Kaminari kun??"
"Ah that? It's a secret technique from my family back in china." Tang Hao replied than sat down next to Ling Mengyu crossed legged and begun cultivating again. The fourth round between Iida and Hatsume of the support department ended quickly then it was time for Ling Mengyu's match against Kaminari
Tang Hao then open his eyes for a few seconds and nodded at Ling Mengyu before closing his eyes again. Upon arriving on the stage, Ling Mengyu looked at Kaminari before the round started. As soon as Midnight said to start Ling Mengyu disappeared in an instant and appeared in front of Kaminari then pushed him off the stage using her qi just as Tang Hao did
Seeing the same scene happen again before her, Midnight was stunned once again before regaining her senses and announced the winner "Winner of the fourth match, Ling Mengyu!" Once again the crowd was bewildered and starting chatting amongst themselves to figure out what happend. Replaying the scene again in sixty four times slower, Ling Mengyu was still nowhere to be seen causing them to slow it down to one hundred twenty eight times before being able to see her shadow which used the exact same move as Tang Hao, knocking off the opponant in an instant without touching them
Ling Mengyu went back inside and sat down crossed legged next to Tang Hao and cultivated, the next few rounds then begun then finally the final match of the preliminaries was between Uraraka and Bakugo. After a while Bakugo won an overwhelming victory and caused the crowd to boo him for causing injury to a female during the battle
Shortly after, it was time for Midoriya and Todoroki's battle. Before their fight, Tang Hao opened his eyes and said to Midoriya "Goodluck Midoriya kun, do your best and try not to injure yourself too much."
"Thanks Tang san, I'll do my best and not disappoint you and the others expectations." Midoriya replied as he stood up and headed towards the stage for his match

After a hard fought battle, Midoriya lost by a small fraction and caused even Todoroki to use his left side. The next match after Midoriya's fight is Tang Hao's who is up against Iida who beat Hatsume from the support class
As they both gathered on the stage, Iida said to Tang Hao "Tang san, I Iida Tenya acknowledge you as a rival, especially in terms of speed seeing that both you and Ling Mengyu are faster than me."
Tang Hao looked at Iida in the eyes and replied "Oh a rival? That's great! Let's have a good one!" as the match is about to start. As soon as the match started, Iida once again used Recipro Burst right off the bat and try to have a battle of speed with Tang Hao. However Tang Hao with the lightning quirk and having cultivated to the qi condensation stage, how could he lose to Iida in speed? Only if he were to purposesly allow Iida to outrun him would it happen
Tang Hao responded to Iida's Recipro Burst by expanding his spiritual sense throughout the stage and dodged exactly the same way he did the first time then appeared behind Iida and once again use his qi to push him out of the stage without letting him do anything
