3 Starting a new life
Being a seed... To Erik, the feeling was definitely a new experience. He was aware of the enormous influx of information moving around his new body, but he could not really take hold of anything, only knowing but not interfering.
It was as if he had no control over his body, but he knew everything about what was happening. When he was a human, he could command his body, but there were still a lot of things operating automatically without him ever knowing, like when he breathed in his sleep.
Now, it was completely different, as he knew about everything happening, but was not able to change anything. He could feel the coating around him, enclosing him and his nutrition source which provided him with what he needed to survive. As nothing was happening, he was wondering what to do, he didn't want to stay in that state all the time while being a plant, that would be crazy.
Actually, to Erik, it was as if a minute had already passed since the transition, but the truth was that only a few seconds went by. The sheer amount of information being processed by him was making his time conception transform, making him think faster than any normal human.

[You should stop asking so many questions, host. This is getting quite stressing for the system, alright? Anyway, here, to answer your questions: The plant doesn't have a brain like a human would, that is true. However, they still possess a brain to control seed development.
With B.A. points, you can improve it to be able to do much more than that! Right now, you don't even have it in you, as your body is that of a seed, but using B.A. points will allow some functions to be used already. Of course, I would have liked to make you take over a mature plant with a better brain, but you would probably be dead right now, destroyed by its will.
Actually, for cultivators, cultivation highly depends on the brain. It controls the flow of qi, which means a cultivator with a "better" brain can train his vital force faster and control it better than another one who possesses an "inferior" brain. Everything depends on it, that is why the system is incredible! It gives you the possibility to improve your brain and make an impact on your whole cultivation.
However, right now, you are a plant, so it's gonna be quite different then if you were a human. But fear not! The system will help you become the best tree in existence!]

As Erik perceived the only choice offered by the system, he held complicated feelings.

While the system was giving a message, Erik felt enormous changes taking place inside of him. The flux of information was being disrupted, his body was transforming. Suddenly, without any warning, an extreme sensation of pain came over him, the experience even making him unable to think for a moment. He couldn't really expect that a plant would have such a great sense of pain, but he was living it himself right now.
_" I'm a fre*king plant, why do I still have to suffer so much?!?"_

Even though Erik was not tortured as much as when he was taking over the seed, it was still very distressing. After some time, it finally stopped, and he was able to relax again. Taking his time to recover from his torment, he noticed a difference in himself.
The plant's information was not only passing through him, he felt he could control some of it! Erik rejoiced, this was great news, as he would not only be a passive spectator anymore. He was finally able to do something, to have an impact on his own body. He finally felt as if he was really alive.
