Awaken Part 2

"Okay class we will be going to the auditorium to meet the magic instructor and get your aptitudes tested."

The teacher then stood up before the entire class as if nothing had happened earlier.

"Our class will go first so please no disrespectful behaviour."

The teacher emphasized his last two words and the classes gaze turned to me, who was standing by the board holding up a bucket of water in front of me, using both hands as punishment for earlier.

Ringgg!-

The bell rang and the entire class rose from their seats getting into two lines , one for each gender.

The teacher gave me a brief glare as signal to join the line to which I followed through leaving the bucket behind.

"Welcome class one A, I am professor Halsted from the magic division of this school.

And the man who escorted you here is will be the teacher for the sword division and also your form teacher."

A tall man about 6 ft 2 spoke as he swung back his clean white lab coat and tipped his glasses with his index to provide effects to his words.

Our form teacher stepped up on stage while wrapping his tall silk smooth hair with a rubber band.

He was about 6 ft and had a muscular built I still can't believe a hit from me sent him flying. Well he did get hit into a bunch of metal desk and chairs and got up unscathe.

"Well Sasori Sensei and I will be doing your aptitude test and after that the division your learn under will be decided, whether me give it the swords."

"As for form classes you will still report back to class 1 A whether you are a swordsman or a magic user and the same for you academic classes."

Professor Halsted spoke before removing the cloth on an orb that was on a desk beside him on the podium.

So His name was Sasori sensei I never heard it back in form class.

"We will call you up based on your position in the line.

Well let's start with the females. Ayesha your at the front your up now." Sasori sensei addressed her then held her hand bringing her up the the the stairs of the podium.

She placed her hand on the orb and it glowed a bright white light.

"so you have magical aptitude, hmm next kavaugn Vager. ahh no magical aptitude try holding this swords, if it glows you're a swords man."

....

"Takiru Delot you are up next."

The entire class laughed except Mr. Halstead, his face was blank as before the fact I was a Delot didn't even flinch him.

Finally it's my turn. I stepped up on the stairs, and touched the ball but it didn't react. I released it and looked at my hand I was about to punch the crystal when it started glowing, the light was brighter than anyone's before, it was blinding.

I covered my eyes and stepped away from the orb and watched as the light from the orb faded.

Everyone was shocked the kids started mumbling amongst themselves and the teachers were frozen and couldn't even speak.

...

Our class of 44 was now divided in threes,

17 sword users, consisting of 6 girls and 11 boys.

22 Magic users 13 girls and 9 boys.

5 without aptitudes.

The five were given letters of transfers and sent over to the pure academic institute at the opposite end of the school.

learning conditions among the remaining 39 with aptitudes would be separated for skill classes and together for the academic classes in form room.

Well that's it's for your first day you are now allowed to venture the school grounds and get accustomed to the areas both Sasori and I have other classes to give aptitude test. So now be on your best behaviour while getting to know your school. Oh and before I forget the upper classes have started the learning time already so please don't disturb them.

Our class marched out of the auditorium allowing the other class that was outside waiting for us to enter. In an instant the class was split up into groups friends got together in groups and everyone was chatting away and I was alone. what was to be expected for anyone with my last name wouldn't be treated any differently than I am.

The school was pretty big about the size of a mansion grounds. Most of the grounds was short kept grass with a stone path leading from the gate to the school building. There was also another building to the left of this one that dealt with kids who study for regular academics. The buildings were separated by a large plain dirt field that had no grass what so ever.

I strolled towards the dust fields while looking up at the upper floors of my school building where I could hear sounds of the upper class men having classes. I saw a log a down by the fence of the the school where the dirt field ended.

...

"Hey you we want that spot."

Three boys my age stood in front me. Their face expression said it all. All they wanted to do was to bully me because of my name and relation to my dad.

"Darwin I don't think we should mess with him he sent Sasori sensei, the form teacher of his class flying with a hit to the face." The fat one to the end spoke his face was timid and covered with fear.

"You should listen to your friend." I turned away from facing them.

"Who him he ain't my friend this fat pig just have been following me around because our parents are close."

The leader replied after kicking the fat one in the stomach causing him to double over holding his stomach in pain.

"He is just our punching bag right Ren." The one on the right side of the leader nodded in response with a grin on his face.

"Well enough of that punk get up and leave this spot is mine."

He repeated his claim with a smirk on his face.

"You going to have to move me because I ain't leaving."

I felt a ticking in my head and I just wanted to hit him.

He proceeded to swing at me with a punch I dodged and the very second I got up back my right hand connected on his cheek, he rolled to the right a few times before getting up and beginning to cry.

Ren ran off and I looked at him with a smirk as I slowly walked towards him.

At that very moment the world seemed to have frozen except for me and Ren who was running and tumbling. I could hear the heel of my shoes blank against the hard dirt floor as I walked towards him with my arms swinging left and right.

Clank

Clank

Clank

He had fallen again as I gained in on him and with in an instant I was standing over him while he laid on the ground helplessly sobbing for forgiveness on the ground.

Swoosh...

Splat.

And again the feeling of relief as my hand connected with his cheek I had no choice but to keep hitting...
