Two weeks came and went. Fred and Regina developed a routine together. She always had dinner on the table when he came home from work, and he always did the dishes before he went to bed. They spent their evenings watching television or playing some online games. But Fred always kept his distance from her, usually sitting on the opposite couch.

Soon Regina also started going for interviews but she still had not gotten any callback. She was eager to get back to work so she would have some normalcy in her life. Right now, she did not have a purpose.

By the beginning of the third week, the withdrawals kicked in. She went from having amazing sex on a daily basis to quitting cold. She did not think it would affect her at all because Paul hurt her so deeply. But it did.
