2 Chapter 2: Adventure To The Camp

SnowFlake said, "I should probably get back to camp, would you guys like to try to join my pack?"

A chestnut brown she-wolf said, "Yay, I like that idea!"

SnowFlake asked, "And what is your name little one?"

The wolf said, "My name is Sorrel."

SnowFlake looked at Max with a questioning look on her face and asked, "Do you want to join my pack?"

Max looked at her and said, "Yes, we would love to join your pack."

Sorrel looked up at SnowFlake and asked, "Are we going to make alot of friends?"

SnowFlake said, "Yes, my pack has a lot of wolves in it." And started walking to her camp.

Tawny looked up at SnowFlake and asked, "Can we hunt?"

SnowFlake said, "No! SilverCrystal, my leader, will be very unhappy because you were hunting in our territory."

"Awwwwww." Sorrel whined.

SnowFlake said, "So Max, SilverCrystal is probably going to give you a new name, but as her deputy, I get to help her choose it. I'm thinking Freeze. What do you think?"

Max said, "I like it!"

SnowFlake gave a quick warning for them to quiet down as they were nearing her camp, "Shhh! We're here, follow my lead! And don't say anything!"

SnowFlake walked up to a she-wolf with gray fur and sparkly gold eyes, when she got right in front of her she said, "Hi MysticDrop they are friends, not enemies, let them pass!"

MysticDrop took a quick sniff at Max and his sisters and then obeyed her deputy and let them pass after saying, "Yes SnowFlake."

SnowFlake noticed that Max was paying close attention to his surroundings as he and his sisters were nearing her camp. As they got closer he whispered into her ear, "You live in an abandoned no-furs camp?" SnowFlake used her powers to read his mind and tell that he was extremely surprised to find that she lived in an abandoned no-furs camp instead of making their own like any other stray animals would, but he didn't say anything rude about it because he knew he would only be lucky if SilverCrystal even let him in the pack.

SnowFlake use her powers to listen in to Max's thoughts and heard everything he was thinking. After he was done thinking about SnowFlake's Camp, SnowFlake said, "Yes. I know what you are thinking. I admit it is kind of strange for wild animals to live in no-furs camps, but it is part of the Warrior Code that a pack lives in the same camps that our Warrior Ancestors have made for us centuries ago. If us packs decide to disobey the Warrior Code, no matter what it is, whoever disobeys it will be kicked out of their pack, be killed or be punished very badly. If SilverCrystal let's you in our pack then your mentors will teach you the Warrior Code. We are here. Follow my lead! Be quiet!"

Max slowed down a little and whispered, "Yes SnowFlake."

SnowFlake quickly hurried through the entrance as it rushed open. Before Max and his sisters were able to enter a she-wolf with black fur and dark blue eyes stepped in front of them and blocked their path. She kept her eyes on them but told SnowFlake, "Hey SnowFlake, you have some followers."

SnowFlake came back to the entrance and said, "Oh. Hello Midnight, I didn't see you there. I was taking these four little ones to speak to SilverCrystal. Will you please let them pass?" She asked nicely.

Midnight moved out of the way and let Max, and his sisters pass.

As they walk in the camp SnowFlake reads Max's mind as he thinks that her camp looks completely empty. But then they walk upstairs, they see a ton of wolves, SnowFlake walks up to this one with white fur and green eyes. She says, "Hi SnowTuft. Go tell SilverCrystal that she has some visitors!"

SnowTuft hurried away into a den right behind him.

Sorrel asked, "What do we do now?"

SnowFlake said, "We wait!"
