Duke Chambers, the musical boy wonder and prince of the pop scene has a problem: His hit single has been bumped from the number one chart spot and things are looking dicey. The woman sneaking into the limelight is a seemingly unknown, older female artist by the name of Crystal Melody, and her new number one song has Duke's manager scrambling. Sensing a huge publicity coup, and determined to put Duke back on the top of the pops, his manager coerces him into recording a duet album with the new siren… if only he can locate her. Once together, sparks begin to fly as they set out to conquer the billboard charts; but can this pair of larger-than-life egos manage to break through their emotional walls and mutual animosity long enough to see the project through?
