5 05 Anger

Rui after a few hours went back home. It was not yet dark so he didn't need to call his sister.

Rui called a taxi and directly went home.

At his home he saw an unfamiliar pair of shoes near the door mat that seemed to belong to a female. He then remembered that they will have a helper that will clean the house.

He just went in and when he got to the living room he was shocked. He was shocked to see a familiar face. It was familiar because he is interested in this person.

The girl too was shocked, but not too shocked because her employer had the last name of 'Dia'. It was an awkward silence for the both of them. Until, Jade came and said "Oh, Rui this is our new helper. What is your name again?"

"Her name is Alice Ruby, Sister." Rui said while scratching his head thinking of what to do. "Right, it was Alice. Wait, how do you know that? Didn't you just arrived?" Jade said and was surprised that his little brother knew the little helper.

"It is because we are classmates, Miss Jade." Alice then spoke and was kind of feeling really awkward.

"Whatever. Go home. Here's the pay for the month. This must be enough, right? You don't have to continue cleaning this month. Just go." Rui said coldly and took out a huge amount of money from his wallet.

"No, I can't accept this without doing anything. I'll clean here until the employer which was not you fires me." Alice said to Rui as she continued cleaning.

"Alright, Alice Ruby. I am a relative of your employer. If you don't want to accept the pay without doing anything. I am paying you to quit right now." Rui said irritated while taking another huge amount of money. Jade was just standing there watching the show. What a sister.

"No. I will do my job." Alice said also feeling a little irritated as Rui wants to get rid of her. "Alright, break it up. Rui why don't you want your classmate to be working here anyways?"

"Sister." Rui said really coldly the made Jade think of what she said and Alice was trembling because of Rui's voice. "Alright, she could work here. I am going to my room. Do not disturb me." Rui said this time with a smile. It was a smile but nobody could know what it means.

Rui went to his room and Alice fell into her knees. She was really scared of how Rui acted. "Don't worry. Just don't invade his privacy." Jade said to Alice not willing to explain why Rui was like this.

Alice nodded and stood up to continue cleaning. After an hour it was almost dark, Jade sent Alice home with her pay for the day. Alice went home.

Jade went to Rui's room and said "She is gone now." Rui ignored her voice.

"Don't be such a child. She will only be working here." Jade said to Rui but after she said that she immediately regreted it. Rui opened the door looked at Jade for a few seconds.

"Look, Sister. I am being a child? You know very well how I don't like people who knows me outside the house near here. I am okay with any helper but people who I know or know me outside here. Why didn't you check her school when she came in here?" Rui said to Jade coldly looking directly at her eyes.

"I forgot. Also, why don't you just move on. Won't it hurt to let people inside your life?" Jade said to Rui. "Yes, it will." Rui said and he went back to his room.

Jade didn't know how to respond to that so she just went to her room.

The night passed and now it was morning for school.

"Rui. It is time to go to school." Jade said at Rui's room. All she got was silence.

Jade realized that Rui didn't want to go to school today so she proceeded with her daily life.

Rui was still at his room. Feeling hungry so he called for pizza. What? You thought he won't eat? He too is human.

The pizza came and Rui paid for the delivery. Rui ate and after he finished eating he drank some water. He then went back to his room.

It is now the afternoon. Rui went to the living room and saw a note. It said that Jade won't be coming home today.

Rui read the note and after he read it he opened the television to watch something. After a few minutes someone rang the doorbell.

Rui stood up and looked to see who was ringing the doorbell. He saw that it was his classmate Alice and he let her in.

Alice was about to say something when the door opened but didn't continue because Rui just ignored her after he opened the door. Alice just went in and proceeded to clean.

After a few minutes, Rui turned off the television and went to his room. Alice took the courage and said "Why don't you want me to work here? Did I do something?"

"No, you didn't do anything." Rui stopped and turned to her and replied. "I just hate someone who knows me from outside know me." Rui continued.

"What do you mean?" Alice said feeling really confused at his words. "Why do you even care? Just do your work and just ignore me." Rui said coldly.

Alice was silent and Rui was about to go to his room when Alice said "No."

Rui stopped and turned to her again. "What do you mean by No?" Rui again with his cold voice said. "I said No. Because you have a problem and I want to help you. Just tell me." Alice said honestly but what she didn't know that should stop.

"You really want to know?" Rui said with a cold and deep voice. It seemed he was angry. Alice trembled at that voice but had the courage to say "Yes, I want to know. I want to help you."

"Then, I'll tell you since you are so persistent. You are so annoying. But you have guts. I'll tell you why. What I mean. I just don't want anyone near me okay?!? I just don't want anyone to open my heart again and leave. I could handle anyone. But I am interested in you and what's worst is you are my classmate and now you work here. What If you get into my life and you became important? Its not just you. Anyone at school, I don't want them near me. Or anyone that knows me. Going inside my house means a lot to me and it invades my privacy. So that is why I don't want anyone who knows me working here. Especially you!" Rui said angrily but some of his words are hard to understand.

Alice stood there and understood something. She walked towards Rui. Looked at him directly in the eyes. "Let me in your life, Rui. I can help you. And I won't leave. Let me be your friend." Alice said with a gentle voice like an angel was speaking.

Rui felt his heart beat fast. He didn't say anything. He just went to his room and didn't respond to Alice's words. Alice smiled and her eyes has something in it. Like a girl who found someone who is worth her. It seemed she fell in love.

How did Alice fell in love with Rui? Is it because Rui is attractive? Or is it not love but only sympathy and she has the urge to help him? Did Rui accept her words?
