14 Awaken

Coming back to reality I felt the throbbing and splits in my bones. Each break felt like rocks were tunneling into my skin. I sucked in squeezed air, feeling my lungs collapsing on themselves. I saw the spots toward the sides of my vision, causing my head to feel like the main thing within it was static. I heard a humming commotion, filling my ears. I had an inclination that I was there for a considerable length of time.

"How is she?!" A man yelled. "Save her or I will murder you!" He yelled again as I black out once more.

At the point when I woke up again I saw a man holding my hand, laying his head on my bedside. I needed to move my hand yet everything I could feel was torment. My entire body ached and the torment didn't die down. The man suddenly woke up alarming me. At the point when I came to know who it was reality hit me.

"Viper." I attempted to call his name yet no word could be framed. I looked as the whites in his eyes turned an unadulterated dark, and as his iris glared greenish blue. Images, lines and spots form in the iris, set in a kind of way. His deadly gaze felt difficult and puncturing, as though his glare was destroying my heart with a blinding greenish blue light. A last look at his angry eyes affirmed my conceivable result. I won't have the option to escape effectively this time.

"You're conscious." He inquired. His voice was pleasant, warm, brimming with feelings, inverse to what he was feeling. I nodded. His puncturing eyes sent shudders down my spine. "Would you like to eat something?" He inquired. I nodded once more. I didn't know how to converse with him. Regardless of whether I ought to apologize or ask what happened. After all, I ignored his request. I was frightened of what would transpire. I chose to ask everything once I was better. I don't have the solidarity to retaliate in the event that I have to.

Daiyu came in with food in her hand. I was so happy to see her, which mean he didn't murder her. Be that as it may, she has wounds. I needed to ask what occurred however I decide not to.

"Leave the food here." He said. He expelled his hand from my hand and began to take care of me. "I can do it without anyone else's help." I said. In any case, he didn't tune in and kept taking care of me. Then, he gave me a pill for my wounds. After that I simply fell back to sleep.

When I woke up again, he was still there. The resentment in his eye has doused marginally. I asked him "how long have I been sleeping?" In which he replied " 8 hours, and eat something you must be hungry." Even if I am not all I could do is agree with him. I don't have the strength to argue. My wounds were mending, however there is still some aching left.

After I finished my meals, he gave me pills for aching. This time I didn't dose off. I asked him "what exactly happened to me? Why am I here again?" His face was dark red, the vein in the middle of his forehead started to throb and his jaw started clenching. I could tell he didn't like the question. "My people saw you outside the gate with injuries. They weren't sure what exactly happened, but they assume you got run over by a car. They bring you back here and find a doctor to diagnose you. When I got the news I rushed to find you, but you were already being diagnosed with the doctor. He said you suffer heavy injuries and it might take a few months to heal properly. You have many broken bones. You lost a lot of blood. If my man were a little late, it could have cost your life." He explained. "Please thank your men for me, I really appreciate their help." "Okay, starting today you can't leave the room. My men will be monitoring outside your room. You will have your food here. This is your last chance." I didn't argue back knowing my situation I could die any moments he gives the order.

"You should rest. I'll return later." He left after saying that. After he left I attempted to rest however I was unable to nod off. After a few seconds Daiyu came in with crisp garments. "I will wipe your body, and assist you with putting on the clothes." She said. "Alright." I answered. After she wiped my body and put on something else I asked about her injuries, which she didn't reply to. All she said was "I have applied the medication for your wounds and changed your wraps." She left after that. I was unable to even appropriately talk with her. I could tell she was not content with what I have done. She should detest me I thought. Afterall, I cause her to suffer for what I have done.

Few hours later, I fell asleep again. I woke up again when I heard footsteps outside my room. Then the door opened. I close my eyes pretending to sleep. Someone came in and started to sit near my bed holding my hands. "I am sorry, I couldn't protect you." He whispered. "From now on, I will protect you to the best of my ability. Please just don't leave me. Stay with me. I don't want you to leave me.I realize you should despise me for what I have done. I am upset about everything." He kept on murmuring. I expect this must be Viper. He is the one in particular who could come in and go as he loved. At the point when he talked, it seemed like his voice was made of rock. His unmistakable tone was undermined with a gagging greatness that constrained him to stop a few times. His watery eyes shut and a solitary tear, as clear as spring water streamed down his cheeks. Inevitably he halted and brought down his head in a tranquil sob.

I felt tears drop in my grasp. As time passed I tumbled to a profound rest. At the point when I woke up Viper was not in my room. There was simply Daiyu and another hireling. "You're awake my lady?" Daiyu inquired. "yes." I said. "Let me help you in cleaning up. After that I eat prepared for you." She said delicately. "Much obliged to you and where your leader?" I asked her. She didn't react. She was like a game character just having the option to state what is expected of her and nothing more or less.

My day went on equivalent to yesterday. Some of the time Viper would visit me, he didn't converse with me. He would simply sit discreetly and leave following a couple of moments. This continued for a couple of more weeks. Viper visited me less frequently. Not that I care. Before long he quit coming. I felt caught and forlorn in a room. I needed my relative and I needed to leave this place more than previously. Nonetheless; those are just my unrealistic reasoning.

I know if I wanted to leave I needed help, and not just from anybody. I needed help from someone who knows the layout of this whole place. I needed help from someone close to Viper. But who would help me. To them it seems like courting death.

It has already been a month since I was here trapped in this room. My wounds have mended and I could start walking. At first I had trouble walking but later I got used to it and now I am walking normally. While I am training to walk again, Viper has stopped by once in a while. Just like before he didn't talk to me, and I also didn't talk to him. Every night I would dream about my family. The loneliness has engulfed me. I feel suffocated. I wanted to take my life to get away from this cage.
