11 Inside the Facility 11

Mandy could not moved in her place, as she watched the scene. Every single one of them was agonizing in pain, bathing with their own blood, hitting with each other, banging their heads on the wall...anything they do was unreasonable. What made them do this? Mandy looked at Aaron, who was beside her also watching the situation. Even him, he could not do something in the situation.

Dr. William noticed the sudden change of heartbeats in their computer. It is the heart rate monitor of all the creatures in the artificial habitat. He immediately check their CCTV monitor installed in the place. As soon as he look at it, he noticed no any event happening on the place.

'How's that possible? They should be out right now and creating chaos' Dr. William thought they would be rampaging out their tents. According to their findings, there are effects in their experiment they've done to several subjets. Each particle of the synthesize vial they've injected in each subject was made to settle or neutralize in the body of the subject. Once the particle settled in the subject, the synthesize vial will create a new cells, which will develop throughout the carrier. Until it will occupy the whole body of the carrier, the cells will start functioning as part of the body. The negative effect of it, was the original cells and the new cells will fight with each other until one will remain. Its up to the carrier's endurance if he/she could handle the fighting of each cells.

Until he saw Mandy standing outside a tent. He noticed her expression, she seemed terrified and was covering her mouth from shock. He checked from other angle of camera, there he saw a faint light coming from below the ground.

"Gather all the security and come with me" He commanded in his colleagues, he stormed out the room.

Aaron snap back Mandy from being shock, he dragged her out the tent. He faced her and looked towards her eye.

"Mandy listen, this might be selfish but we need to close the hole"

"What? We need to save them. They need help" as she recovered from her shock.

"We can't do anything for them, you saw what they where doing. They were out of their mind. If you jump in there, you will be their next victim" he replied back to her, Mandy only open and close her mouth as she tried to come up with an answer but she gave up.

"What really happened to them?" she calmly asked him. He just shook her head as a sign he doesn't know.

A sound of whaling catch their attention as the place turned red. They alert their senses and back to back looking their surroundings.

'Now what?' complained through her mind.

Suddenly she heard a thud in her back, as she was about to look back. Smoked covered her vision, as she inhaled she lost her balance. She felt dizzy all of a sudden, until she lost track to her surroundings. Her body fell to the ground, a group of black suit surround the unconcious body.

"We need to transfer them and run another test" Dr. William tell to his troops, as they put the two bodies on a stretchers. He then walked toward the hole they made, there he saw the lying bodies of subjects.

"We should redesign the habitat. Recover all the bodies and deliver back in the lab." His final command and walked out the place. There is no sign of sorrow in his eyes, he was used to seeing dead bodies since then.

Accomplishing the work was his main goal. Completing the project will give the humanity an advantage in the future comes. So there's no room for him to feel sorry for them. However her sister still supports him even though her sister has a soft side towards the people they abduct and experiment. She tried to understand her brother since they only have each other.

He reached the main lab room and saw her sister infront of a tube where Mandy was placed.

"Brother, how can we do something like this? I know it was too late but I feel so horrible seeing her in this state. We left their place in order to keep them away from us but what just happened? There's so much other people out there but why her?" He reached for her sister and embraced her.

"I know...But we can't turned back time. That's why we must complete our work in order to save her. This might took long but we can save her, I assure that."

Outside the room, a person heard their conversation. That person leave immediatly bringing the report for the project. A sinister of smirk immerged from its face.
