Saved by a Robot

Angel stared at what would be his immediate death. The monster, currently lunging towards him roared loudly and gnashed its teeth.

SLASH

A sharp metal disc sliced half of the monster's jaw off. A flash of black and pink indicated it was Hez who made the critical strike. She threw another disc, cutting the creature's neck. Blood poured out of the open wounds as its hind legs weakened, until finally, it dropped dead.

Hez readjusted herself, her metallic body clicking. She was a robot, once programmed to kill but now had joined the Terra Team in hopes to find out who she really was.

Her body was sleek and shiny, mostly comprised of grey metal plates and pink highlights. For an android she had a more feminine build with slight bumps on her chest plate and long silicon lashes.

Angel and Hez's eyes met briefly before the robot collected her weapons from the monster's carcass.
