Cruel Billionaire: Aloof Ex-Wife

Smell of disinfectant pervaded the air of the hospital.

A very well-known lady, Tiana Brown, dashed out of the doctor's office excitedly with the lab results in her hands. Just when she was about to make a phone call, her cellphone rang.

When she picked it up, she heard her uncle say, "Tiana , is everything alright between you and Austin ?"

"We're fine. Why did you ask?" she asked, questioning him back as she is all confused while holding all reports in her hand, that something was a very important favourable moment for her. Her uncle asking this made it way terrible for her.

"I heard Austin brought a pregnant lady to the hospital for a prenatal checkup the day before yesterday, '' her uncle replied to her, in a very weak tone knowing how he is hurting her niece while he was pouring this news on her.

Tiana burst into laughter and replied, "You think Austin has a kept woman?",

"Yes!", Her Uncle replied way confidential when she asked this

"Don't worry uncle, among all men, Austin is the last person in the world who would do such a thing", she replied way assuringly as she can't believe Austin can do something or even if he did so, she sure knows he is going to have a good reason behind it.

After saying Tiana hung up the call with her uncle, then called Austin Taylor.

At first he didn't pick up her call making her sad, as she wanted to tell him the news way more desperately than anything, now even getting this news from her uncle so she had few questions to ask him though, not like she had no trust but although she has all rights to ask him .

She again tried to call him and after a few more rings At Last he picked up the call. Before she could speak anything, she heard him. "I'm very busy. Don't call and disturb me if it's nothing important! That's it for now. ", he sounded cold and emotionless. After saying these heart wrecking words to his own wife, he hung up on her before she could say anything.

Tiana held onto the test results, while seeing the phone cautiously like her life depended on it but now falling apart, feeling as if her burning passion was frozen instantly.

Since they got married three years ago, Austin has always been very gentle to her. If any man could be this patient, she could never believe, but Austin is another definition of patience. That's what she learned in these three years of her marriage .

For him, " Patience is virtue", but now it sounds something, recently it just doesn't seem that way .

There was an abrupt change in his attitude, not only cold, even when answering her call, he was also impatient, which made her wonder what caused such a drastic change in him, with her mind preoccupied by her thoughts, Tiana turned and saw a figure pop up before her. "Sis!" a gentle voice called out.

When Tiana looked over as she knew who it could be, she saw Rose Cook, who was accompanied by a middle-aged woman.

Tiana frowned at the sight of Rose, who was the daughter of a mistress. With a look of contempt on her face, she retorted coldly, "Mind your words. I'm the only child that my mother has ever given birth to. ", she knows it might sound harsh, but she wants to sound like that .

Instead of getting angry at her reply, Rose merely beamed and asked gently, "Tiana , are you here for your infertility check up again?", It does sound like a mocking no matter how gentle she sounds, but for Tiana, it sounds like she is getting mocked by it .

"It's none of your business," she retorted, being cold with her words, but her head is all running about everything that happened in this little time .

"Aren't you going to ask me why I'm here at the pregnancy check up area?" Rose asked and raised an eyebrow at Tiana provocatively.

She then chuckled as she saw Tiana have no expression other than staring at her coldly, and she announced, "I'm pregnant with Austin 's child!".

Tiana only noticed her tiny baby bump right after she said this,

All along, Rose had been very obvious about her feelings towards Austin and would always find ways to hook up with him before he married Tiana .

However, Tiana merely sneered and replied, "Are you out of your mind?".

"You don't believe me? Well, take a look at this!"

Rose then flashed her check-up report to Tiana and Tiana's expression instantly changed when she saw the familiar handwriting on it.

She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw Austin 's signature.

"I spent a velvet night with him for four month, Such a beast he is in bed, and as he was all over me the whole night being all rough and sweaty, I was pregnant since then," Rose declared and grinned proudly.

"He likes this child very much and asked me to keep him, you could step down after my child's born", she ended her words with a mocking smile in her direction toward Tiana who she got what she wanted all these years .
