[Bonus chapter] Who is trapped?

"Master, there is news!" The door knocked slightly, bringing the man who was sleeping on the bed open his eyes.

His eyes that should be filled with sleep were high alert as if he had not winked his eyes all this time.

He had just woken up, but his bewitchingly dark eyes were still profound-looking. His white shirt was half open, and his manly, buff honey-colored chest peeked through. His electrifying v-line and every inch of his outline was lethally appealing enough that it simply made people's noses bleed!

He tilted his head a little. His hair was perfectly trimmed, barely covering his eyes. Suddenly, he thought of something and replied again with a domineering tone,

"Come in and report!" the man who was waiting on the other side of the door jumped with relief.

These days, life has been boring with massive training and fighting. He was feeling so lethargic that he did not want to do anything. Finally he had gotten some twist in his boring life.

His master is getting entertaining too. He was curious to see how his master would react today.

He opened the door trying his best to not show his excitement and look serious or maybe a bit worried.

"We have found the details. Last night Oliver went to his house and stayed there all the time. But he woke up early in the morning and left his house in the dark.

And as you have said, Lia is going to buy things today. Do you think they are going to meet?" he asked with wriggling brows while his voice was full of excitement like a kid that was going to get advanced candies due to his good work.

He was so energetic that he did not notice the darkness bubbling in the eyes of his master like a monster that was finally awake and thirsty.

He would only calm down when he would drink the blood of a few.

"I will tell you once i will come back!" He stood up from his bed and walked towards the door leaving the stunned Ethan in the room who blinked.

It took him a few seconds to respond as three deep lines formed on his face.

"Wait.. what? Where are you going alone! I will be the one going. Master! You have not even taken a bath, let this humble aide go." he continued to shout and reason with Alex but the man was nowhere to be seen.

Ethan ran in full speed only to see the cloud of dust formed by the horse of his master while Alex had already disappeared from the building.

"That is not fair! I am not going to work for you anymore when you are going to have all the fun alone." he threw the paper in his hands and stomped on it with full force.

He was annoyed. He had thought that he was going to have fun there.

"Master Ethan, are you okay? Do you need tea by any chance?" Ethan blinked when he heard the voice.

Was he having illusions because he did not sleep last night as he wanted to catch them red handed.

He turned and looked at the girl who was standing with a kettle of hot tea in a tray and looking at him with worried eyes.

"Lia! What are you doing here? I thought you were going to the market!" he asked in a confused voice as he walked closer to her when she smiled warmly.

"Oh that! I told the head maid that I am new to this town and did not know the way. I do not have any ideas about the shops either.

So, it would be a disaster. What if I buy everything at an expensive rate and then ask to pay from my salary? I would go next time when she would have time to show me the market.

But since the supplies were urgent, I should not delay her work. So, she left and I would stay to look after your needs."

"Oh my, pfffftttt! Hahahaha! That cruel bastard! Now he would be taught a good lesson. Oh lord. What a spectacular scene would it be.. Hahahaha" he held his stomach as he laughed loudly while covering his mouth with a fist. His eyes watered with the laughter but he continued when the girl looked worried.

She felt like he had gone crazy suddenly. She looked around for help but found no one so she walked closer.

"Master Ethan, are you sure you are well? Should I call someone for help or would you like to have some tea to calm yourself!" She did not know what had happened but she did not want to leave the man alone when he was having one of his crazy fits.

Ethan stared at the girl who was looking like a scared lamb that was scared yet wanted to help the hunter. What a fool lamb she was!

"Yes, yes! I am fine. I was just happy that you are here. Now I will have my favorite dishes for breakfast. Do you know Lia, you have magic in your hands." the girl blinked and then blushed.

Her whole face turned red as she was not expecting him to compliment her in such a soft voice.

"I.. I know you are making fun of my cooking. But… tell me what you would like to have. I will try my best to cook for you." her face beamed but she continued to look at the ground with red ears and cheeks when his eyes softened.

Such a pure soul! Who would believe that she had seen the cruelty of this world. If only, he would have met her sooner.. He shook his head. What was he even thinking? She was a girl he must protect.

"I would have anything that you cook and take your time since master Alex is gone to the market. We will not have our morning training anymore."
