[Bonus chapter] Split The Bills

"Al.. alright." he took all the orders and then bowed his head in front of Alex, Ethan and Tavern only.

A sign that only Olivia was not worthy of his respect. It was the only way he could show displeasure to her visit.

He turned and reached the door when she smirked. "Stop, I am not done yet!"

"Huh!" he turned with a look of bewilderment on his face. How could she eat more than 20 lobsters when she was this petite?

Or she was thinking of ordering more since she was not the one to pay. Was she going to brag about it later to others?

"You have forgotten to bow in front of me before leaving. It is okay since I am an understanding person and understand that memory becomes weaker with age. So, I am reminding you out of goodwill.`` The manager wanted to shout that he had not forgotten that but he did not want to bow in front of her but when he noticed Alex raising his head, he could not bring himself to say that out loud.

He could see the arrogance dancing on her face. It would only increase if he would really bow his head. Reliance could be seen clearly on his face as he looked at his master pleadingly.

"Oliver! Do not be too arrogant!" yes. His face bloomed instantly as he raised his head high and his nose started to touch the ceiling when Alex took his side.

He knew that his master could not be fooled by ruffians like Oliver. Now he will not forget this lesson and learn to behave.

"What did I do? Is it not the norm to bow your head in front of customers? Or are you saying that I am not one here?" asked Olivia in a confused tone. She pretended to be innocent, but she still couldn't hide her arrogance.

Alex rubbed his head. He could not refuse if she put it that way.

"Manager, bowing your head is a way to respect others. She is still a guest, so you should follow your norms before leaving. Or you want me to teach you how to behave. Hmm?"

His jaw was almost going to hit the floor with those words. Did.. did his master abandon him and decided to take side of that ruffian who he should have asked to scram.

No he did not bring her with himself in the first place. With his heart in his throat and face full of grievance, he bowed his head in front of Olivia who had a domineering smile on her face and nodded her face full of arrogance.

Tsk! A dog barks harder while its master is around!

Behave any way you want since the master is with you this time. I will see how you enter my place next time when you come alone. With that thought, he left the room while cursing her in his heart till he reached the kitchen.

Olivia looked at the bitter sight of his back and curled her mouth up coldly.

Tavern and Ethan exchanged glances. Even if the master needed Oliver for something, he had never been this tolerant towards anyone in his life.

Could it be that what Olivia said in the morning was true. Their mind started to fill with many wild thoughts when Tavern slapped himself to come back to his senses.

Alex frowned as he turned to look at him confused when Olivia laughed loudly as if grasping the dilemma of both knights but she said nothing to clear the misunderstanding. After all, she was having a good time.

But the smile on her face froze soo enough when she saw the pile of food collecting on the table.

"All this is mine?" did he want to feed her so much that she would not be able to raise her daggers and get killed by Tavern later in the fight.

As a warrior he should know that they could not teach each other much , especially before the fight. She only wanted to eat a bit before her stomach was churning and she was feeling awful.

Since she could not sleep it off, she decided to have some meal.

"Umm, master Alex. My wife loves Lobsters too. Can I take a few for her?" He still has many women waiting for him at home.

It would be better to take food for them since Ophelia could not cook. She felt at ease with that thought when Alex tilted his head and looked at her.

Just when she thought that he would shake his head and refuse, he nodded his head with ease.

This man was a bit thoughtful at least. She has been too cruel to him for some reason.

She reminded herself to behave better with him when she would work under him and would not tease him so much when he opened that perfect lips of his and spoke in a magnetic tone,

"You can do anything with the meal since you are going to pay for it."

"Bam!" the fork fell from her hands and she stood up abruptly with a look of shock in her eyes.

She remembered the exorbitant prices of this place that she had an argument with the manager while paying for a chiffon cake.

There was no way that she could pay for such a feast.

"Why in the world would I pay when you have brought me to eat here?" she demanded in a loud voice.

Alex, who had said those words carelessly raised his brow. Finally! Oh lord, finally he had found a weakness of this brat who has been on his nerves all this time. She had been sucking all his blood and always flared him up to the limit of smoke coming out of his body.

This is what the justice of the god was. A smirk forms on his lips as he leaned on the sofa leisurely and replied,

"Why, didn't you say that you wanted to have a meal before the competition? But i never accepted that i am going to pay for one and didnt you throw a tantrum just now that you are the customer too.

Since we all are customers equally. Shouldn't we pay for our bills separately?"
