11 Training

"Say Anna why he lives in this basement for newcomers, I even invite him at my place, but he refused." Lucas said to Anna while holding a light stone and was leading the way.

"As your neighbor, I feel annoyed of you I can't even image that someone can even live with you. I'm glad that Ethan refuses your offer." Anna answered plainly.

"Anna you break my heart here you know? It's not like that as you said right?" Lucas said while looking worried.

Anna just took the light stone from Lucas hand and start leading the without answering him. "Hey, why are you not answering please answer me?" Lucas said, but Anna didn't say anything.

"We arrived" said Anna, and stop walking. Lucas walked ahead and said "hey little brother, guess who came to visit you."

Lucas looked in the cell and saw a shadow sitting on the ground. Lucas took the light stone from Anna's hand and entered in a cell. "Why are you sitting in darkness and on the floor, oh there is a cheesecake. Little brother, you did not even invite me to eat cheesecake."

Ethan looked at the boy who seemed to never stop talking "why are you here? You should directly contact me by ring."

When Lucas heard Ethan voice that was without any emotions he sighed "little brother, you should be more cheerful, you should just act like your age not like a man whose girl just ditch him for some shitty guy. Ok?"

To his answer Lucas got a cold stare from Ethan. "Ok ok I will get to point, but before that lets go to my place cheese cake will be delicious with Anna's scented tea."

Lucas picked up the cake that was on straw bed and exit before Ethan could even respond. So Ethan can only go with Lucas toward his cell. Anna also starts walking after nodding to Ethan as a greeting.

Ethan thought one talk nonstop and other talked a little it's a weird combination. He wondered how they came to know each other.

At Lucas place. After coming Anna got behind the bar and start brewing scented tea. Lucas only sits on a seat without talking to Ethan.

After a while Anna came back with a tray and served the cake that was now cut cleanly and scented tea. Lucas starts eating his share. Ethan also took one bite.

After Lucas eats his fill he finally told why he was looking for Ethan. "Ok little brother, let's talk business. I have finished making your training schedule." As Lucas said this Ethan's ring, vibrate a little it was notification that he got a message from Lucas.

"Little brother, I want to know something, why you using a short sword as your weapon." Lucas asked "as I can see you have enough strength to use a normal sword or even long sword"

"Because of my height when I am using a normal sword I can't balance myself." Ethan tells him truthfully.

"I see, so this was the reason, I thought there was some special reason. Well, to tell the truth, I think that you should be using a normal sword right now." Lucas said "as for balance problem Anna will be training you so you have to not worry about it." Ethan nodded.

"As for why long swords for your use I think that you are not fast enough, when I see you killing that person your strength was more than enough, but your speed was lacking so I want you to concentrate on your speed not strength ok,?" Lucas asked

Ethan was a little surprise he didn't know there was this type of person who can deduce things like this just looking at one time.

"I have a question. How you know I was lacking in speed by just looking me only one time?" Ethan asked him with puzzlement.

"Hahaha, that because of my ability I can't fight with beasts or others. I was good at deducing thing when I was a child and got ability according to it." Lucas laughs pride writer all over his face.

"And don't worry with my training schedule, you also become strong on the way" Lucas added.

Ethan did not say anything. Anna, who was gone out for some time came back with a sword in her hand.

The sword has a red hilt and black cover she tosses it toward Ethan. Ethan caught it, the sword was a little heavy, but Ethan will be able to wield it with a little difficulty. The sword was at the height of Ethan shoulder when lifts upright from the ground.

"This?" Ethan asked questionably to Anna. But Anna didn't answer, instead Lucas said "this will be your new weapon from today onward. I want you to use a spear for your weapon because it longer, but your foundation is solid so we can only use this sword. It's a little big for you, but I think you can use it right?"

"It will take time to adjust with this big sword" answered Ethan looking at the sword in his hand.

"No problem, now you will be training with Anna. So you will able to get used to this sword" Lucas said and asked Anna "did you book private training ground?"

"Yes " answered Anna simply. "Then let's go there Ethan now we are going to start your training so no slacking around. As for your position on ranking board, don't worry, I will be sharing my points so you will be fine." Lucas said as he patted Ethan head.

Ethan glare at lucks, so Lucas stops patting Ethan head. "Let's go to training ground"

After a while they reached training ground, it was private training ground so no unauthorized person can enter. After scanning their rings, they entered.

The training ground was simply not too big, no small. Lucas sat on the bench at the side. "You can start your training don't mind me." Lucas said to Ethan.

Anna was standing at center for Ethan waiting patiently. Ethan unsheathed his sword, it was a one edge sword. Ethan gets into a fighting stance.

When Anna saw that Ethan was ready, she takes out one gun that was strapped to her thigh. And start attacking Ethan. Ethan did not expect her to attack without telling him he dodges hurriedly. He did not stable his balance when Anna shot again. For an hour Anna attack and Ethan only dodge.

After an hour Anna finally stops attacking. Ethan was covered in his blood because of small wounds. There was no major injury on Ethan indicating that Anna was holding back.

Lucas comes toward Ethan, who was lying on ground "little brother, I am disappointed that you can't even come close to Anna." Lucas said with a smile that seems to never fade away from his face.

"Now I will explain your training first part that is really simple come touch Anna while she shot you. She will not use her ability she will not even move from her position. She only uses that relic you saw her using right now. That relic shoots aura bullet a typical gun relic that uses aura as ammo. Oh yes aura bullets can be reflected by the sword." After Lucas said this and he snap his finger.

Anna came with a bucket full of water and pours it on Ethan. When water touched the wounds he start screaming seemed to be in pain.

"And after your training Anna will pour salted water on you every day. So, quickly catch Anna so you can pass this first phase of training." Lucas said with a smile on his face to Ethan who was still screaming in pain.

"Now you can go to your cell and take a good rest. We shall meet again tomorrow. And remember it this training is to stable your balance so don't move around this much." After saying this Lucas leaves the hall with Anna behind.

After a while, Ethan stands up gritting his teeth to endure the pain. There were tears in his eyes. After enduring the pain for while he first stabled his breathing, then he picked up his sword. Today he was not even able to swing his sword one time.

He has to say that Anna has a good marksmanship when he tried to close the distance she increase the shot speeds and her shots were accurate it only gaze through him not wounded him fatally.

He came back to his cell with great difficulty. After he came back he collapsed on ground and fell in sleep on ground.
