As I was enjoying my sleep and having a sweet dream, a bucket full of water came pouring at me. I was start awake by the cold water and heard Andrew babbling "you brat how much you want to sleep now wake up and come to backyard for training. You accomplished a little in sword and still brag around saying you will become a most powerful swordsman in the world and join The Titan guild, but always slacking when I doesn't pay attention to you, now awake up already" Andrew who got a full head of white hair was standing beside me and continue his babbling. When I saw an empty bucket of water in his hand, I flew into rage and pounced toward him.

"You old geezer let me sleep for a while why you always wake me so early to do training." Andrew, who was standing beside me dodge at a speed that was not matched with his age and physique.

I caught off guard and bump my head on the floor. Andrew saw me on floor laughed while saying "Humph, you want to catch me come after training hundred years."

"You brat, you still dare to brag that you will become most powerful when you can't even catch an old man like me." After saying that he was about to leave when he say "in fifteen minute you should be in the backyard if you late even a minute you will be not getting any breakfast today" after saying that he shut the door with a slam.

I was cursing him from behind, but he gave no heed to it. Nonetheless, I got up and start getting ready, when he said no breakfast, he was serious how can me who was developing can go without any breakfast. After getting ready I hurried toward backyard where Andrew was waiting for me.

The sky was still dark and this damn old geezer always made me wake up early to train sword with him. It has been 5 years since he takes me and my fraternal twin sister in. I don't want to admit, but after my both parent die in beast raid me and my sister were both in despair. As only 5 years old we don't know how to take care of ourselves not to say made living.

In this world no one cares about little Childs that are abandoned or have no parents. Because there is too many children's who become orphan or get abandoned by their parent because of beast raid.

When we were starving to death Andrew takes us in. After that we both living with him. Andrew was an adventurer with good swordsmanship, but he can't awakened no matter what he tried and without being awakened you can't compete with people who are awakened. So after taking us in he quit being an adventurer and come to this small town where no one know him.

After that he trained me all this time. I said training, but he only knows how to beat me up. Whenever I tell him that his case was rare that he was not able to awake, but he just doesn't listen to me and train me so I train with him all this time.

Awakens starting appearing when beasts start pouring out of cracks that appear in the space other than in dungeons.

When these cracks appear which now called dimensional crack countless people died and cities were destroyed. After fighting these monsters for 20 years first human awaken appear and change the fate of humans that was on the brink of extinction and again human become leading specie. Awakened people wield power that was beyond human capacity. Some awaken has the power to destroy boulders with bare hand, some were able to produce fire from thin air and so on.

After some researched human know this power came from a formless energy inside the human body that convert itself in these abilities. This formless energy was named as Aura.

After approximately 1000 years after first awaken appear. Human stopped producing aura in their body. After the initial panic, one of the researchers found that Aura also found in nature named as Aura particles. So, they started researching and found a way to absorb Aura from nature. Now there are techniques to absorb Aura from nature. And also help to expand capacity to store Aura in the human body.

The human body starts absorbing Aura only after they become 15 years old. If younger than this try to use any technique to absorb Aura from nature they will die painfully.

There are some cases where human body starts producing Aura naturally regardless of age and they can tame beasts this ability is only these people have.

Now everyone who practices aura particle absorption techniques can be awakened. As for Andrew we can simply say that he was unlucky that he was not able to absorb any aura at all.

When I arrived Andrew was waiting for me impatiently. When he sees me he starts nagging again "brat quickly comes and spar with me. Do you want me to die waiting for you, huh?"

As he said that he throw one of sword toward me that he was holding in his hand and smirk saying "come let me beat you to pulp for calling me old geezer." I caught the sword from the air and get into stance completely ignoring him.

"Ready or not, here I come." After saying this I leapt toward him aiming toward his legs to trip him. But he only yawns "still old trick like tripping me, huh you think I will ever fall for these tricks?"

He causally swings his sword and blocked my sword. Then I start to attack him from all angles aggressively, but he deflects all my attacks easily. After sparing until sunrise, I was panting while this old geezer only smile like a bastard in front of me enraging me even more, but I don't even have the strength to swing my sword.

"Hahaha, this is so called swordsmanship that you proud of it? That can't even beat an old man like me." he said looking provoking toward me. This old bastard, he gets on my nerve again. "Old man, if you are not afraid of losing to me why you don't teach me an actual sword skill?"

"Ha, afraid to lose to you, hahaha its really funny go train hundred more years and say this again. Then it will sound a little reasonable hahaha" Andrew says as he laugh hard. "As for any skills I don't have any to teach you I said hundred times and saying again, Go pave your own path and learn yourself made your own skills. Observe your enemy, find their weakness and use it in your favor"

After saying that he put down his sword and he watched rising sun. Then he came toward me "now let's go inside and have our breakfast. Oh, I can't wait to eat food that my sweet little Amelia has made for me" when I heard his tone I was so angry that I can eat him alive why so much different treatment toward my sister. I tried to hit him with my sword, but he simply sidesteps dogging easily and then he tripped me. I fell head first on the ground.

"Humph, serve you right and next time call me father or I will not go easy as I gone today" after saying that he run toward home completely ignoring me.

I saw him running inside house happily and couldn't help but sigh so much different in treatment I will show him someday that I can defeat him without learning any skills from him.

When I enter in kitchen after washing up Andrew was sitting on the table like an obedient child waiting for food from his mother. Sigh, why he doesn't act a little as his age.

When Amelia saw me entering she smiled at me and said "Ethan you also sit down I will serve you breakfast in a while"

"Sister let me help you set the table some old geezer only know how to eat and not helping us" when I said that Amelia hit me on the head saying angrily "if you want to help, then do it but don't run your mouth so much and for Father he wants to help me but I stop him. He came from training you and you want him to help in the kitchen too?"

"Alright, alright it's my mistake" I said while taking three sets of tableware toward the table helplessly.

When Andrew saw sister scolding me he gleefully said to me "hahaha serve you right brat" I glare at him "old geezer I will defeat you and made sister praise me."

"I will be waiting for that day" Andrew said with a smirk. I was about to rebuke when Amelia came in with a pot of soup, so I just shut my mouth don't want both of them to team up again against me.

Breakfast was simple and I enjoy it while bickering with Andrew. Amelia sat beside me enjoying her breakfast. I hate to say this but I want us to live like this forever. I really enjoy this life and thankful.
