Crossroads

Janette was standing on the corner of 8th street, lost, alone, and confused about what life she wanted it to be, what she wanted, and which way to go.

It all started on Friday. She was sitting at her desk doing the job that no one else wanted to do or had the ability to do correctly. It wasn't the most important job, but it kept the office running correctly. It did give her a feeling of power and control knowing that she was the only one that could do it correctly. She looked up to see three girls gathering at the water cooler. Janette knew this was going to mean bad news for her, every time the three of them gathered they always wanted her to do something that she shouldn't do. They kept looking at her, whispering more and giggling, and this was never a good sign.

Janette tried ignoring them, she just wanted to get through the day and go home and relax. Stacy started signaling Janette trying to get her to come over. At first, Janette was doing great at looking too busy to go over. But it didn't take long before all three of them were trying to get her attention. She finally gave up and walked over to the cooler.

As soon as she got close Stacy said. "Omg girl you look fantastic! You have to come with us to the party."

Janette knew something like this was coming but was not sure just how to go about getting out of it. As she started to open her mouth the other two could tell she was going to back out and spoke up.

"You just have to Janette it won't be a party without you there, and you know there are supposed to be really rich guys there tonight," said Patty. Jane just nodded her head in agreement.

Janette having a large heart couldn't look into their eyes and tell them no, so reluctantly she agreed to go to the party, but she said. "Ok I will go but I can't stay long."

The three girls all smiled and cheered. Janette started wondering just what she agreed to. The rest of the day went quickly, too fast for Janette, now she was dreading the end of the workday.

Janette made it home and was standing in front of her closet looking at her clothes not seeing anything that she was even willing to put on to go out and party. Just as she was getting up the courage to call the girls and say she couldn't come, she wasn't up to it, there was a knock at the door.

She knew at once what it was, it was the girls there to pick her up. She let them in so at least they could help her get ready but that also meant that her leaving early was shot to hell.

It didn't take long for the three of them to get her dressed and out the door.

Now each was dressed to kill in a dress that was low-cut and very high on the thigh. They found one for Janette that was black with pretty pink flowers on it she would have never picked this one out for herself it was way too short and too revealing. Besides it being too low-cut she had to go bra-less and so that meant that every time she moved, she would have to be careful not to pop out of it. She would have to watch bending or it would show her black thong. She felt naked and exposed and didn't know how she got suckered into doing this.

Janette looked at the others they were all dressed to match. All looking as sexy as they could, dressed to kill and now they started on her makeup. They said that they couldn't go anywhere till she was perfect. A frown came to her face she didn't like bothering with all that, she had natural beauty and it was good enough for her, but the others knew just what to do to make her look stunning.

When they had her ready, they had the car brought around so they could go. "Wait you need better shoes," Stacy said.

Janette's head dropped "not shoes now'' she thought but she only had three black ones to choose from so the choice was easy and quick. So, she was ready by the time the car came around.

The four climbed into the car and Janette couldn't believe that she was here doing this again, but they were her friends and she wanted them happy, so she went along even when she really didn't want to.
