2 [2] Knock Knock. Who's there?
--- Chapter 2 ---
[A few months after Eiji Hagiwara had transmigrated]
RING!
The chime of an alarm ringing echoed inside of a gloomily decorated room filled with a variety of bottles and a youth sleeping on his bed.
RING!
The alarm resounded with the repeat of another melody, annoying the boy who wanted nothing but peace and quiet while laying on his bed.
"Oh, for fuck's sake, who invented these irritating melodies for an alarm!"
The boy laying onto of his soft doubled bed grumbled slightly before turning his head towards the clock and shut it off before collapsing back onto his bed with a smile.
'Finally some peace and qui-'
His thoughts that gathered about wanting to sleep again were suddenly interrupted by a series of knocks that smacked against his door.
KNOCK!
'What is it now...'
The boy stiffly turned his head towards the door and grunted with slight annoyance of getting his modd ruined before getting up from his comfortable mattress.
'This better be something important.'
The young man scratched his messy black and silver hair that reached slightly above his ears and eyed the door languidly.
CREAK!
The youth had finished walking towards the door and began opening it slowly, making the person who was angrily knocking peek their head inside with irritation clearly shown on their face.
"Eiji! What did I tell you to do this morning!?"
Indeed. The boy who was holding the door open widely with slight shock and horror written all over his face was the former entertainer and streamer that had died from lightning, Eiji Hagiwara.
Now, some of you may ask how on earth this money-hungry boy that died, survived. Well, the answer to this question is something that will be unraveled in the future, instead let's focus on the present.
The youth, Eiji, had somehow taken over a body that looked similar but slightly different in a parallel dimension the moment he died.
Like any other person, he was first quite shocked and intrigued as to why he survived but eventually decided to forget about it and decided to focus on this chance he had been given after a few months of living in this alternate world.
'This time I'll try not to do anything stupid. Key word is try...'
Eiji who suddenly thought back to his past life was pulled back into the present by a cold and demanding voice that reached his ears.
"Eiji Hagiwara... are you listening to me?!"
The youth stiffened slightly by the woman's voice and focused his dilated eyes to look at the lady.
Long flowing and lustrous black hair that was paired with enchanting silver eyes, and a beautiful face that would make most girls jealous. This was the mother that Eiji had in this new life, Azumi Hagiwara.
She was a kind and smart woman, but at the same time she can turn malicious, petty and feisty if someone was idiotic enough to anger her.
Eiji darted his eyes away from his mothers face and started to scratch his cheek lightly the moment the woman put her hands on her hips, a clear indication that she was quite, scrap that, very pissed.
"Yes, mom..."
Ejij hesitantly replied tiredly to his mom that engraved fear into his body the moment he began living in this body and glanced at the clock that was on top of his desk.
*Sigh*
The woman suddenly let out a heavy sigh and began to look around the chaotic amd wrecked room that was still not tidied up by her lazy son.
A slight vein popped out on the temple of her forehead before she moved her head to look at her son who already knew her thoughts.
Eiji quickly picked up the broom that leaned against the door and rushed to pick up the bottles and packets of crisps around his room.
"I told you to clean your room yesterday, we have people coming over soon! *Sigh* What should I do with this idiotic son of mine..."
Azumi's shoulder slumped slightly the moment she finished berating her son and began to use her fingers to rub her temples.
Eiji who saw that quickly breathed out a sigh of relief before finishing picking up the trash that was scattered around his room.
'She is finally done with that speech of hers and hasn't given me any punishments...I guess I'm safe for now.'
Eiji's mother who had watched him clean his room suddenly got out the room the moment her phone emitted a loud 'beep'.
"I'll be back soon Eiji! Keep the house clean for me!"
The youth glanced at her back with slight curiosity wondering who had messaged her before shrugging his shoulder slightly.
'Well, she'll tell me if its anything important'
Eiji quickly tied up the bag filled with trash and rushed downstairs and threw it into the recycling bin and ran back upstairs.
"Eiji, I'll be going now! Make sure to open the door if the people visiting come earlier than expected!"
Azumi suddenly started to shout from below before exiting the house, making the young boy raise his eyebrows in curiosity once again.
'She did say we will have guests over before... I wonder who they are...'
Random toughts started to appear on his mind the moment he dropped himself back onto his bed. Although those thoughts quickly disappeared the moment his phone started to vibrate.
Eiji picked up his phone without looking and turned it on, watching the the screen light up in white light with several words and numbers imprinted across it.

[Reminder]
The time and notification suddenly appeared on his phone, making Eiji lift his eyebrows while tapping on the reminder. Wanting to see what it was.

Ken suddenly froze his movements momentarily before propping himself out of his comfortable bed hurriedly.
'I forgot about this...'
He hurriedly grabbed his chair and threw himself onto it while anxiously watching his computer turn on.
'It sure is taking its sweet time...'
Eiji waited for a couple of seconds that seemed like hours and quickly typed in his password amd username while glancing at the time.

Eiji sighed out in relief and slumped against his gaming chair tiredly whilst opening YouTube, waiting for the time to hit 20:10.
'2 minutes to start up my computer. That's quite an improvement from last time, I wonder how it opened up so quickly.'
Eiji, while thinking, began to hum a meoldy he had heard im hus past life while leisurely spinning on his back chair.
[Live Stream Starting.]
The boy hurriedly stpped spinning on his chair the moment the countdown finished and began to fix his appearance slightly.
He then glanced at the mirror beside his computer and looked at his silver and green eyes stare back at him with amusement before smiling slightly.
'I'm as handsome as ever, although I'm quite curious as to why my hair colour, and eye colour changed...'
The viewers who were excitedly waiting for Eiji's livestream, were greeted by his beautiful smile and loving eyes that pierced through them.
Although, they thought he was looking at them while in fact he was admiring his appearance in his new life.
But they don't need to know that, right.

Eiji stared at the flowing comments and sighed internally while outwardly smiling brightly at hus viewers.
'Pretty privilege hmm. I guess it should be expected, humans mostly judge others off of their appearance. I guess its just how we're built.'
The comment section exploded the moment they saw Eiji and patiently waited to see what he will be showing them today.
"Welcome back ladies and gents. Today we will-"
RING!
Ken's happy and bright speech was suddenly cut off by the doorbell ringing downstairs, causing his happy facade to crack slightly with a frown.
The viewers who were watching this heard the sound and began to flood the comments even further.

Eiji who had gotten up and out of his chair glanced at the comments and froze for a few seconds before smiling weirdly.
"Hold on for a few seconds. I'll be right back."
He then paused the live stream and began to exit his room while walking downstairs with slight sweat forming in his forehead.
'What is up with these guys doing stuff like that...'
He slightly shook his head when he remembered that comment and then began to shiver slightly when an image popped up of someone trying to smell his backside.
'Urgh. That should be illegal...'
Eiji had finally appeared in front of the door while thinking about what had happened and began to open it while flashing quickly flashing an apologetic smile.
"I'm sorry for the wait, I was busy doing something..."
Eiji's speech and apologetic tone suddenly started to get more silent at the end when he saw the appearance of the person behind the door.
He found her familiar but he couldn't wrap his head around who she was.
'Isn't she...'
