16 River

When you die, you will cross a river. You have to. It's a river of your life. Your sins, your happiness, your emotions, your memories- everything you consist of is the river . When you leave the river behind, you leave everything. You will become nothing and you will move on.

If the sins you have incurred in your life greater than your good deeds, you will drown in the river once. You keep on falling to the bottom of the river, breatheless and panicky. You will fall for a few days and then you will realise there is no hope. You will live through every sin you have committed and feel every emotion hitting you.

If your good deeds are greater than your sins, you will float on the river. You will stay afloat and you will feel the sun shine on you. You will feel good and you will relax before you move on to your next life and it's suffering.

But there are some people who do not cross the river. They are afraid of knowing what they have done on life. The ones who never did anything - the ones who existed.

They do not cross the river. They haven't done anything worthy of judgement. They ignored the good and bad in others. The ones who did not have the strength to speak up, the ones who dissolved onto the crowd like they never existed.

And that is exactly what happens to them. They dissolve into the water. They are never given a second chance. Life is too precious to be wasted by doing nothing. They dissolve into the water and it's like they never existed.
