1 Chapter One- Venturing Off

"A Luna rogue?" He mocked circling around me in the small facility. There was something sinister in the way we both smirked. We understood each other on many different levels. Pain and power thrived in our hearts. Creating a beautiful evil. "I like to say the irony of the situation is quite a delight for Bradley." He looked up his dark unnerving eyes meeting mine." It's time his rein ends as Alpha. We are the true line of royal blood." For a split second I saw a hint of amusement in his eyes. His jaw ticked and he urged the guards to release me. "Follow me."

Three weeks ago

"We found her on the east border. We assume she was heading for neutral land."

"Where is she now?" The guard sighed loudly. It was clear he was questioning my actions." I asked you a question." I demanded a little louder implementing my authority.

" Forgive me Alpha she is in cell 152B."

"Take her out now and put her in the pack hospital. I want two guards outside her door and one at the window. Inform me when she wakes up." He nodded briskly before exiting the room. Just as fast as the door shut it opened and I saw my sweet mate walk in. Her lovely scent wafted with the drift of air as she walked.

"I miss you." She smiled innocently through nothing was innocent about my minx.

" And you decided just to barge into my office without consulting me Mrs. Woods. I should have you punished." Her beautiful doe like eyes widened if possible more. She bit her lip and sauntered over.

" You know I can't keep myself away from you very long." A soft giggle escaped her lips and I found myself strangely turned on. She wrapped her legs around me on the chair. Straddling my waist with her legs.

"Kiss me." I demanded as she seem to be distracted behind me. Her eyes followed over something and I realized she was reading.

" You didn't tell me that you were planning to attack the Washstone pack." She looked down I could see the look of betrayal on her face.

" Baby we are the queen and king we have to stay at the top." She pushed her hands on my chest as if backing away.

" But there innocent and have been nothing but neutral to us Bradley." Of course they were the first ten months of the treaty but once she became Luna the Washstone had become unsettled in the deal. Considering my beautiful mates family was there they expected the special treatment from the royals. Of course I couldn't have told her that she would be disappointed in her father and the way he went about using her to secure safety in his pack.

" Honey it's nothing but a little scare to put them back into place. No blood with be shed." Her eyebrows furrowed and she was still distressed at the thought of her family not being safe.

"Okay just please do not hurt anyone." She raised her hand to my jaw caressing the stubble.

" I won't" The door flew open and the undeniable smell of blood correlated with the intruder. In a instant I was up and protecting Amora. The intruder was stumbling forward with a bundle in her hands.

"Hailey." I gasped walking toward the nonexistent threat. I felt Amora grab my arm she pulled my shoulder back but I was too enticed.

"He's beautiful isn't he?" She said unwrapping the towel he was embedded in. Just mere inches from the bundle I reached forward and with an intense love like that of meeting your mate it was only me and him in the room.

"Is he-

"Yours." Hailey said with a faint smile. I heard a cry escape from behind me and I suddenly remembered my mate, my Luna, my supposedly everything.

"What is going on Bradley?" She asked her voice cracking at the end. And like a bucket of cold water was thrown over me I remembered the night he was conceived.

"I was in heat one night in the woods and he found me and well." She said with a unwavering smile. I was soon disgusted by her presence. She took pride in that night went it was a mere mistake.

"You bastard! How could you have done this. Our first child cannot be the heir to the reign because you had a one night stand with some omega!" Hailey growled and I could see Amora was fighting back her wolf.

" Guards take her away!" She growled out and suddenly the guards ran in grabbing Hailey by the arm. To my surprise my wolf was angry at them for hurting Hailey. He was pacing back in forth in my mind. Amora looked at me and the baby her eyes flashing amber and black.

" Amora control Aspen." Aspen being her wolf and more feral side. She collapsed to her knees her cries erupted and the amount of pain they held was unbearable. In a flash she shifted and ran through the door. Her howls filled the silence of the palace.

"Luna."

I heard out behind me as walked up the stairs. I was in no state to be harassed. Or to have meaningless conversations.

" Luna are you okay? Do you need medical assistance?" I held the large oversized t-shirt to my body. The ache in my heart couldn't be mended by any doctor.

" No I am okay Lily." She gasped and a smile crept on her face. I knew every servant and every omega. Everyone who worked in the palace I knew. I took the honor of knowing each one including Hailey. My fist clenched and my wolf bowled out in pain at the mere thought of her name. I met her and I learned her and I helped her. Yet she didn't have the audacity to tell me she was pregnant with my mates child. She was a pathetic choice to bear my mates child. Let alone take my title as Luna. As reached the top floor I found our room ajar.

"What do you mean you cannot find her! I want my mate back as soon as possible send every damn warrior available! Send out best trackers from the north border." I heard a low growl and the sound of glass shattering. I thought back to how many times I had to replace that stupid vase in our room. It had fallen victim to our fights many of times.

" Amora." I heard him say in a whisper. I rounded the corner and entered our room. The baby lay on the bed with a new blanket wrapped around him. He was a gorgeous baby. I felt Aspen on edge. She hated the threat the baby caused. It was splitting of me and Bradley. Bradley picked me up wrapping me in his embrace. Holding me to his chest and tucking his nose in my neck.

"I'm sorry Amora I'm so sorry. It was before I met you. I couldn't control myself when I found her. If I had you as mate then he wouldn't be here." I shook my head.

" He is not a mistake he is moon goddess gift because face it Bradley we've been trying for a more than half a year now and I still haven't gotten pregnant. I cannot be a Luna Bradley if I cannot bear your children." I could feel my heart shattering. The millions of pieces falling apart.

"You are my Luna and we will try and try. This cannot break us." Bradley said gripping my hands in his. Squeezing me so tight I actually thought about staying.

" Make Hailey your Luna. She has the title now that she's bear your first child." He shoo his head infuriated by the proposition." Hell no stop saying that you are my Luna we are going to rule the Royal Moon pack together." I knew what had to be done and tonight I would leave. As a Luna Rogue.
