For that night they settled down in the small clearing. The zombies that had rushed up to them from the base were quickly dealt with by that tree.
It was quite useful and saved them a lot of bullets.
But Fan Xui's proposed idea to grow them was still very much dangerous. They didn't know how it will react to humans yet. For now, the plan was put off for later days when they settled down.
Yue laid in the car hugging Zi Chen close to him. the young child was adamant in sleeping with him oddly. He relented and let him bunk in the back seat with him.
They had left in a hurry and most of the survivors did not have any blankets or sleeping gear. Juda and uncle Wen distributed the necessities. Even so, they did not have any tents. Uncle Wen did not buy any before the end of the world. so they were left to sleep out in the open.
Everyone chose to sleep in the busses and their own vehicles. It at least give them a bit of security.
