49 The Principal

"Who took her to the hospital?" Orlando finally found his voice. He never thought something like this would ever occur in high school, because nobody ever knew about this incident back then...

"Samantha and me."

Lucas looked suspiciously, "This was big incident, where were the school authorities? It's impossible to believe that only you and Sam took her to the hospital."

"Please tell us the truth... Ed" Watson pleaded, he could never imagine what Crystal went through and most importantly why....

"The principal knew about this... "

"What! Then why was there no action taken?? " Watson was angry, very angry.

"This doesn't make any sense.. " Lucas sighed.

"Wait. The principal resigned soon after graduation... " realization hits Orlando.

Eddard nodded his head, "Someone tried to remove me as well."

"What!!" the boys snapped.

"This was all planned... bloody hell. " Watson gritted through his teeth.

"It's a conspiracy." Lucas finally understood.

"Okay Eddard, please tell us every single detail. What happened when you saw Crystal.. laying in.. in the ground." Orlando grimaced seeing the anguish on Watson's face.

"There was a note in her hand.... It was a blackmail note."

The room felt heavier with growing silence.

Eddard continued, 'We know about Susan', this was written on a small paper.

"Susan!!! Something much worse had happened to her... That's why... Oh god." Lucas felt defeated, he knew the girls cared alot about Susan and that's a major reason why they didn't take any action against Sandra and her bitches.

"Ed, do you know what happened to Susan?" Orlando asked, as every bits and pieces of information will be useful for gathering evidence.

"No, they wouldn't tell me.... It's their secret. The girls will never tell."

"Ed, how did you and Samantha took Crystal to hospital?"

"Orlando, you won't believe me, but there was no staff for help that night. Even the gatekeepers were gone! Samantha drove Crystal's car to hospital. I was with them. The principal came to the hospital and he was very nervous. He called someone and I was asked to leave. Samantha wouldn't leave Crystal's side. I was ordered not to speak anyone about this incident." Eddard took deep breaths calming him down.

"Who ordered you?" Lucas asked slowly.

"The Principal"

"That old man!! Even he was involved, I'll kill him." Watson vowed, everywhere people he knew and cared about hurt his Crystal. First Victoria and now the principal..

"I can't believe our principal would no... " Orlando denied to believe. He was good old man and he was inspiration to many students.

"He was a good man. In fact, he made sure that I wasn't fired or forced to resign..." Eddard said in defeat.

"This is a lot to take.... " Lucas murmured.

"Wait a second, if the principal resigns who will be benefited the most? " Orlando asked, the timings were too perfect for the plot.

Realization hit the boys like a tornado, "The Vice Principal!!!!! "
