4 Techna - The bane of technology

Rain had the worst back pain ever. Her body was aching after Olivia and Crystal tackled her down on the floor. Her face was flushed red, facing the floor.

There was no way to escape.

"I surrender" Rain said dramatically.

"You bitch"

"For God's sake! What have you done Rain!" Olivia screamed.

"Jeez guys, get off me and I'll explain you."

"No, we know you so well. You'll outsmart us." Crystal said gripping her wrist tightly.

"I'm outnumbered, can't you see." Rain rolled her eyes.

"Rain!!!" Both the girls scream on top of their lungs.

"Forgive me mother-hens. I'm an innocent child invented in the era of technology. My father 'speed' left my mother 'internet' so my server is down.." Rain said innocently, making the girls groan in frustration.

Slowly, not trusting her a bit, they remove the grip on her... Rain smirks and gets up to escape.

"Not so quick, Techna- The bane of technology" Crystal remarks, blocking her path, which makes Rain to give her a nasty scowl.

"Hey...." Rain chirps.

"Stop it! Both of you! Now!" Olivia commands both of them.

"Just deal with her Olivia... I can't take it lightly!" Crystal huffs in irritation.

"Rain! Please tell us what have you done?" Olivia looks at Rain, with a 'don't you dare lie look'.

Rain shifts her feet nervously, "Well, you see I have been keeping tabs on the boys since the last year."

"You don't mean the billionaire squad, right?" Crystal asked, feeling uneasy at the thought of getting involved with them again.

"Yes... Before you guys charge on me. I have valid reasons for it. You have to trust my judgement on this one."

"How could you do this to us?" Olivia said in a disappointed tone.

"Olivia I.."

"No wait! Rain, I just cannot believe you will hide such an important fact! You know we made a vow 7 years back." Olivia said in frustration. She could not believe Rain's audacity to act so recklessly and without consulting them.

"Rain, you really shouldn't act on your own. The consequences of your actions will be suffered by us. We just cannot let them in, after that incident! Aarggh!" Crystal practically screams.

"What about Samantha? She will have your neck in silver platter, if she comes to know." Olivia reminded her.

"Premier Corporation and Billionaire's squad have a history." Rain said in a quiet tone. That snapped the attention of both the girls.

"What!!" They exclaimed in suprise.

"Olivia, you were called today at Premier Corporation because they know you have connection with the billionaire squad boys. Luckily they couldn't find much about Crystal, Samantha and me."

"It means they are using me as a bait" Olivia whispers in realization.

Crystal crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at Rain, "You stalked Olivia."

Rain's eyes widen at being caught red-handed, she smiles apologetically towards Olivia and glares at Crystal.

"I'm sorry Ovi, you know I found it little suspicious for them to call you at their place. Just for your safety I did that."

"Rain I'm very capable to protect myself."

"I know, I don't want to offend you. But I hacked their security system only to find out you were being followed." Rain defends herself.

"I was wondering as to why you changed the colour of my car while driving. Now I get it why. Thanks Rain."

Rain had personally made robotic cars for every member of CROSS. Her car model is highly superficial backed by artificial intelligence. To not let people get suspicious. the car model was similar to that of Rolls Royce. No one could make out the difference in car. It is Rain's own invention, something she is very proud of. The car could change its colour, have jet booster's, gun machine. It can also be converted in a boat.

After what had happened with Susan. She made sure all of the girls shall be saved from every situation. She worked her ass off to make such new inventions.

She could have easily sold it in the market and would have become one of the richest woman in the world. But she refused it, just for the sake of her friends love and protection... and most importantly to keep all their identities under wrap...

That's what makes them unbreakable.

Olivia hugs Rain and murmurs a quiet thank you.

Crystal slaps her arm, but then goes in for a group hug.

"What will we do without you? Our dearest Techna." Crystal said hugging her best friends.

"Probably be stuck in an unarchived file with lots of viruses.." Rain said with a sly grin.

Making the girls laugh out in amusement.

"I bet that virus would be called as 'Rain'" Crystal stucks her tongue out, and the girls fall in other fits of laughter.
