1 Chapter 1 - Bright light

His name was Cornelius Anderson, a jobless 21 year old guy. Well, unless being a YouTuber counted as a job. After graduation and his trial for jobs for the last 6 months, he got tired and decided to choose that instead. Right now, he was on his way to a store, he knew was famous for new games. His YouTube channel had to do with gaming, he'd normally speed run games live and he was good at it too, but it only got him around 100k subscribers, not like he cared, the money he got from it was enough for rent and the rest.

As he walked he earned a lot of weird glances from people. Not that his blue eyes and dark hair was captivating it was just that he looked like he had been hit by a truck. His eyes had earned black semi circles beneath them and his skin was pale, well paler than usual. It's what he got from playing games all night and searching for new ones in demand.

A bump to his shoulder brought him back to reality.

"Sorry about that." Neil muttered then looked at the person. The face he saw shocked him. "Xavier?"

His best friend from college smiled. "Neil!, I can't believe it's you."

Neil frowned and glared at his friend. "After 6 damn months."

Xavier laughed nervously. "It's not my fault. Been a little busy."

"To not even call?" Neil exclaimed. All he earned was a laugh from his friend.

"OK, sorry man. Let me make it up to you. It's been 6 months, we have a lot to catch up on. All on me, you okay with that?" Xavier offered.

Neil smiled. 'Still as cheerful as always.'

By near evening, Xavier and Neil were heading west, where the latter lived.

"This is it?" Xavier asked surveying the apartment.

"Yeah." Neil answered, scratching the base of his back neck nervously.

"Well, it's okay as long as I know where you live." Xavier muttered. How his friend had lived in the place he now looked at was quite questioning. "I guess this is good night."

Neil smiled. "Yeah, we'll meet again right?"

"Of course." Xavier turned around and moved. It was then Izuku noticed it. It all happened so fast. A bright line of light was heading to Todo from the sky. Izuku couldn't stop himself. He jumped forward to push Todo away. The next moments after that, the world went completely black.

Neil's eyes fluttered open. The bed was the first thing he noticed, then the weird designs of the wall of the room he was in. Then the odd figure sitting by his bed side. It was a girl, well seemed so. Her features were definitely not normal. She had green hair to go with her hazel eyes but her skin was a tone of white and her ear was pointed, way more pointed than any human.

She smiled at him warmly then spoke in a language he didn't understand. Seeing his reaction, she lightly tapped her head like she forgot something then brought out an oddly shaped pen. She spoke some more then raised her pen up high. For some reason, light gathered around it as she spoke some more.

Neil raised a brow as she lightly tapped the pen on his head. Just then his head started throbbing as he felt somewhat weird.

"Can you hear me?" The girl asked.

Neil looked at her confused. "How?-"He shuffled in the bed, already positioning himself in case he needed to run. For all he knew, this could be kidnap.

"My... " She stopped as if wondering if she should continue, it was obvious he wouldn't understand the explanation. "You'll get to know it all later. Valdos should be-"

The door opening stopped her and she stood up already knowing who was there. A young man with the same white skin and pointed ears but instead with white hair. He was dressed in a white suit with a golden coloured sash laying above it. He took the girl's place in the seat.

Neil wasn't sure why but every single cell in his body was screaming at him to run. Of course, he was about to follow his gut before the man spoke up.

"I wouldn't think about running. That's the first all of you think of doing. My name is Valdos, first prince of the kingdom." He said.

Neil could barely stifle the laugh bubbling in his throat. "Dude, I don't know why you guys kidnapped me but you've got the wrong guy. The last thing I want right now is some mix up with a famous person."

"Well mix up is a suitable word, but we'll go with what we get. We were supposed to summon your friend but you interfered."

"Summoned? I don't understand, what's seriously going on here." Neil shouted. 'Is this some kind of joke.'

"First, do not ever shout at me again." The man touched Neil's arm. A small haze appeared and Neil watched as his arm turned to solid ice. He gasped as the pain soared up his frozen arm. "Second, yes, you are a summoned individual from your world to ours. The Eastern, that is my kingdom, the Northern, Central and South kingdoms are currently in war with the largest kingdom, the Western Kingdom, Lairem. Summoned ones always tended to show extraordinary battle power. And so we decided to have one, it took a month to successfully summon you here and you will help us in this battle." He looked down at Neil's arm again."Won't you?"

Neil gritted his teeth. "You said I'm here by mistake just send me back, what kind of bull are you saying?"

"Shouldn't the pain be enough for you to know your place?" Valdos glared at him. "Anyways we can't do that. Period. We'll give you a day to gather you're thoughts. Rya!"

Neil clutched his hand tightly trying to stifle down the pain and not faint. 'What the hell is going on here?'
