10 Before UA

I'm in the final year of junior high and quite a few things have changed in my life. For one thing I'm not acknowledged as a successor to Aquarius ken which was a long story. One day me and muir were training and some dope with a bed skin head and a tail came in talking smack about muir and her style then offered me to learn the Scorpio Ken which I outright rejected.

He didn't like that and challenged me to face him in the zodiac tournament. Muir and my other masters and me were invited to this island two weeks later for a youth fighting tournament with 32 participants from each of the zodiac styles. I was the only one representing Aquarius so everyone was against me. Much to mu luck my first opponent was from the Taurus department so he boasted strength and durability. He said something about being last times runner up but the fight didn't take more than ten seconds.

I rushed towards him and delivered a palm strike straight to his chin and he collapsed like a puppet with its strings cut. The audience just sat their wide eyed at how anti climatic it was. My masters all laughed. Then 10 minutes later I had to fight some pretty dude from the Leo school who was surrounded by girls who called themselves the lionesses. He bragged to me and made a poss with his hands like claws. He said " a virgin like you stands no chance" which ticked me. Not my fault I'm 14 and your 17. So I took the anger out on him harshly.

He jumped at me exaggeratedly while his girls kyaaa'd in the background which further pissed me off. So I did a push kick right to groin flooring him in the process. The audience had a look of fear and the men crossed their legs protectively. He was still conscious so I did a slow axe kick to his face knocking him out. My masters laughed again while Cung shio gave me a thumbs up and muir gave a smirk. The so called lionesses grew enraged and went to rush me so I gave them a scare

I unleashed my conquerors haki at them, yep that's right I learned how to use it. It's at the intermediate level while the others are at expert at a bottleneck. The girls shivered and kneeled in front of me with a look of awe in their eyes. I left the stage and muir nudged me "bad move kid, Leo ken users and particularly the females to submit themselves to strong men who can dominate them and you just showed them the epitome of domination". I went pale faced and looked behind me to see the lionesses looking at me feverishly and even their old master who looked like a tigress in her qipao was biting her lip looking at me. Oh fuck I thought at the time. My masters laughed even harder, this was the best trip they took in a long time.

My next opponent was surprisingly another cameo. It was Virgo from fairy tail but not the cute version. The gorilla version. She rushed me in an attempt to grapple by grabbing my gi. Fear ran through me at the thought of her on top of me so I used a sombat move. It's called flash fire and was made to deal with grapplers. I grabbed her outstretched hand and yanked it towards me and drives my elbow straight into her solar plexus. While she leered from the pain I used the arm I was holding and performed an Aquarius Ken style shoulder throw putting her out of the ring.

"Gurararara, brat you certainly have a soft spot for animal women, first a pink racoon then a pride of lions and now a gorilla" all my masters laughed. "Shut it pops or I'll tell Naomi (pops wife) you were looking up women's quipaos while they were fighting" he visibly aged at that and then shut up which made my other masters guffaw.

My next opponent was a woman from Aries Ken and she was wearing a fluffy sheep cosplay and was standing there shyly. Obviously a diversion tactic as this was the semi finals and she looks unharmed so she guilted her opponents. I swung my palm like an open palm slap and stiles her chin sending her to dreamland.

The finals I met that Scorpio douche and he licked his lips disgustingly at muir. I decided to use a nasty move again. One muir used on me when I called her a hag once. Never did it again. He rushed at me with sand rolling off his body. His hands purple as if they've been poisoned so he probably wants to drug me with them and I spotted a flash of light from the tip of his tail so a needle.

He rushed and locked fingers with me expecting me to howl in pain but my tolerance for both pain and poison far outmatches what this runt can do. So I lowered my hands downwards making his wrists produce a clicking noise. I then grabbed his finger and twisted it throwing him face first to the ground busting his nose he howled. I flicked his wrist upwards forcing upright and then repeated the process until he lost consciousness. I said "Aquarius Ken deep see whirlpool" and left the stage. I earned a fortune for winning the competition and my masters made a fortune gambling on me which I took 15% of.

After that muir started warming up to me like crazy which made Mina jealous. Another thing that changed was in my second year of junior high I asked her out and she agreed so we are a couple now which is great. We always hung out at each others places, shared an animal interest and her parents liked me. Not to mention her biology couldn't hurt me. Her mom often came for massages and asking for the "family" discount which made me and Mina blush.

Another thing in that changed other than me growing stronger was that I spent less time studying after I learnt mandarin and started tutoring Mina. Her grades rose rapidly when I had dates as the reward. So me and her aced the out junior high exams and the UA entrance exam.

The last thing that changed was we got new pets. Finally. I own three cats; Robin who is highly observant and likes sitting on his neck, she has black fur with a darker tan under belly fur like the one from one piece and bright blue eyes. The second is Kuroka who is pure black with pure yellow eyes, she's extremely touch and often rubs herself on me. Lastly there's shirone who loves treats, rubs and pets. She's a light shade of grey in fur color with eyes matching kurokas. I also own two new golden retrievers though one isn't golden.

One gold called banana and One green called wani. Banana has a fruit shaped like a banana on her fur pattern while wani is just slightly green coloured like she just rolled though freshly mowed grass. When I enter the house the pair rush straight for me to check my well being after one time seeing me come home bandaged after a showdown with pops in the mountains. He's a beast with his rumble quirk. Taking those blows hurts but I survive. Sand is apparently an amazing shock absorber so I can tank heavy hitters and he trained me to deal with them through my bind and blasting as well as training me in rescue tactics.

Anyway that's all the changes so next time I talk it'll be about the UA exam.
