Warriors, Mages and Havien

"The path of a warrior is somewhat similar, but at the same time wholly different from the path of the mage. They have monikers for the different stages of the mastery of their weapons, for which there is a long-established rule of correlation with the rankings of the mages.

Weapon Apprentice---> Rank 1 to 3 mage

Weapon Expert---> Rank 4 to 6 mage

Weapon Master---> Rank 7 mage, also known as a grand mage.

Weapon Grandmaster---> Rank 8 mage, also known as an archmage.

Weapon Saint---> Rank 9 mage, also known as a sage.

The warriors use a source of power which is known as qi to advance in ranks. Even though it has the same roots as the mana of mages, it has a wholly different nature than mana.
