36 34.Vanishing Voices Part-2

"You can't meet him.He has left the country forever. He got his visa canceled before going.I am afraid you will not be able to see him ever again."Gu Ren warned.

Mark was in shock. He couldn't understand why Akio suddenly left. Was he so disgusted by him that he would leave the country?Somehow, logic was not fitting into the situation.Everything seemed vague and trivial.

"Ok.Thank you."He said and hung up the phone.

Tears were brimming in his eyes but his sadness was overtaken by fury.He barged into their bedroom and hunted every possible thing that was owned by Akio.He sabotaged the room during the process.By the end of the day,the room seemed as if a storm had just ripped through it.

He was successful in finding everything that ever belonged to Akio or even if it had traces of him.He collected the entire pile and decided to set fire to it.He gathered everything, covered it with dry leaves and clicked Akio's lighter. However, there was no fire generated.

He shaked the lighter to check for fluid but it was empty. However, the cap fell down.Mark looked inside it.Besides the black opaque darkness, there was something white inside it.He took it out and noticed it was a piece of paper, with something scribbled on it.Thankfully, the contents were in English and Mark could read it.The letter said:

"Dear Mark,

It is only due to certain circumstances that I would have to leave you.I know you will find this letter someday. When things finally stabilize,I will let you know about my whereabouts.Till then please be patient.Trust me.Everything will be fine.

Love,

Akio."

Mark was speechless. "What the hell does this letter even mean?"

Why did Akio write the letter? What kind of situation was he referring to?
