32 32.Capricious Confessions

"Yeah..I love you too.You are my best friend."Akio gave a placid reply.

"But I don't mean that kind of love."Mark mumbled,with hopelessness gleaming in his eyes.

"You mean BL or bromance?"Akio asked,arching his eyebrows together.

"I mean BL."

Those words struck right to his brain.He finally realised the reason for Mark's behavior.He had fallen in love.It was customary for him to behave like this but somehow for Akio,all this was very uncomfortable.

"Look,I don't disrespect you,but I am not one of your kind.I don't see you in that way."

"But didn't you kiss me that day?"Mark shivered.

"Yeah..but I already explained that incident well.I am sorry to have caused any misunderstanding."Akio said as he unlocked the door and ran out of the house.Mark could see the disgust in his eyes.His hopelessness brimmed through his eyes in the form of tears.

Mark banged the door loudly and sat down behind it,drowning in the pains of first love.He had promised himself to not go astray from the straight path.How could he go out of his league and fall in love with a person much more reputed than he is? And to top it off,he is perfectly straight.Mark had thought Akio would have a heart to heart conversation with him and bring him out of the problem but the result was quite opposite.

Akio on the other hand,ran off to the Chengdu cherry blossom park,which welcomed him with open arms.He entered the place in search of a Sakura tree which was nowhere to be found,as it was winter.The place was covered with bare trees with a layer of frost upon them.Akio sat down under a tree,but the Sun rays flashed upon his face.He got up and searched for a more shadier place and found one.However,as soon as he sat under it,a tuft of snow fell upon his head.

"Damn this cursed day!"He yelled as he wiped the snow off his head,which was now wet.His black hair kept on sticking to his face.Suddenly,out of nowhere,he saw Mark while collecting his thoughts.

"What have you done,Mark?!"He exclaimed.

The first encounter with him in the rain was the most memorable.He remembered meeting the aggressive,chubby guy outside the school.He also remembered the time he treated him when he was injured and also when he served him Dal.Mark's unconditional kindness drove him to tears one day.His childish behavior,the innocent face,he could only see them in his visions.

"What is wrong with me?Do I swing the other way? Or have I also fallen in love with him?Why is everything so wrong today?"He mumbled to himself.

"Excuse me,the park is about to be closed."Someone whispered behind him.Akio turned back.It was one of the guards.However,he did not listen to him.

"Huh?"

"Sir,this park is about to be closed."

Akio looked around him.It was almost sunset.The white snow glowed orange and yellow.The guard leaded him to the exit and locked the door behind him.Akio had nowhere to go except home.A place he currently wanted to avoid.

Akio now wandered aimlessly towards the house.He knocked on the door but it was open.He entered the house,only to see something very horrifying.

What had Akio seen?
