43 We Are In This Together
The incident of Hue carrying her and bringing her home then happened [1]
She had mouth the words "I'm sorry" as she knew she shouldn't have left not even noticing she took longer than she the initial 1 hour she intended. She explained what happened that day from the ending of the film to meeting her savior to leaving without saying anything.
Afterwards, she told them about the couple she saw near the aquarium fountain. Hue gritted his teeth in anger with a blood thirst aura surrounding him. Wisteria despite her gentle temperate had the same aura.
Being startled by the sudden blood thirst Reen tightly held her now cold tea and shivered.
Seeing this, both tried their best to suppress their aura breathing in and out to calm themselves. Reen visibly relaxed afterwards.
"Thank you for sharing this with us Reen we know that it was a very hard thing for you to do." Wisteria as though the previous rage was an illusion said gently while reaching and grabbing her hand
Hue nodded in consent as he too reached and held both their hands warming Reen's cold hands and heart. She straightened her back and earnestly requested
"I want to join your company and train even more."
Momentarily surprised by the sudden request but knowing what it is for Wisteria could not help but say,
"Are you sure about this dear? The next phase of our devised training is not as easy as before. Once you start walking this path you can never turn back." Wisteria tried to advice her.
"She's right Reen, we trained you initially to help protect yourself in case something bad happened to you not because we wanted you to join us. Rest assured, will do what we couldn't previously do and extract revenge for you. We just need a bit more time." Hue inserted while clenching his teeth in anger yet again
Reen shook her head, "I have to do this on my own, only then could I truly be free from this constraint."
Seeing the resolve in her eyes, it was useless to try to persuade her more. They sighed in defeat and squeezed her hands.
"Alright then! Let's do it this way. We promise to train you and accompany you on this revenge…" seeing Reen was about to decline the latter offer Wisteria squeezed her hands again and hurriedly said
"This is not only about you now Reen… You are our daughter now we are in this together. We are partly to blame for what had happened too."
"No m-mom, I never blamed the two of you for anything that happened. In fact I am even thankful for you rescuing and adopting me… for your love and care." She said sincerely
Wisteria merely shook her head despite knowing she really didn't blame them, the guilt was still there.
Realizing no matter what she says, as like her they were as stubborn as a mule [2]. She finally agreed for this collaboration. They smiled at each other then returned to lighter topics.
