62 To Blow Little Ducks
"Boy, was it." She chuckled which made Wisteria smile slightly.
A few days has passed as Reen balanced her work, career and training life. On a rare weekend when she was free, Reen told them she was going to the public library to return some books she borrowed.
She dressed in a white vintage high waist with pink floral plain skater flared pleated long skirt dress. She then wore a round neck sleeveless white top and put on a royal silver pump sandal.
She then tied her hair into a sleek side ponytail with hair wrap and curly ends. Hue drove her there, he offered to wait for her but she declined because she wouldn't know how long she would actually stay.
The library was cool and refreshing which contrasted to the warm and humid weather outside which Reen was greatly thankful for.
Since today is Sunday there were only a few people inside the library which was an added bonus for her. As she was returning the books she previously borrowed, she recalled what had happened a few days ago.
When the music video was finally shown in this morning's press conference, Hue and Wisteria had shared what happened to her while they watched the video together.
A few days ago…
The usual greetings and proper conduct was first followed and then the formal conference started.
"We invited you today to deny the claims of the recent scandal that was released. We wanted to invite both the artists in question however they are busy thus being unable to attend this conference." Hue said, the part of being busy in Reen's case was a total lie.
"Every artist or manager says that even though that's a blatant lie." Mon, the responsible for the scandal pretended to whisper but said in a loud way that almost all of the people in the room could hear.
Murmurs from the reporters and journalists started.
"That may be true but-" Seeto started saying heatedly, Hue interrupted him.
"That's actually a fair point well made. But some people do like to blow little ducks [1]" Hue calmly said.
The reporter was taken aback and angered by Hue's insult while the others laughed at him making him angrier.
"You!" He said angrily
"That scene was actually..." Hue said ignoring his reaction completely satisfying Seeto who had been angered by him, he mentally berating himself for his rush attitude.
"I still have a long way to go to become a professional and capable manager." He could only sigh to himself.
The whole room suddenly turned pitched black and some startled voices arise. Music started playing which caught the audience's attention.
The people who were in front of them namely Hue and Seeto were replaced by a white screen. They had pulled their chairs at the side when the room suddenly darkened while the table remained in its place.
A video started playing of Chad and Reen seemingly on a date as captured by the bogus reporter.
The teaser for the music video started playing then.
