35 Superficial Wounds?

"Oh! Hmm... For that, I'll take a series of exams to determine the cause behind it."

He instructed them some things to remember and left. A few minutes after, Reen was ushered away to take a series of exam and finding nothing unusual was returned to the hospital room.

"He" had left when he found out the results after receiving a call from his assistant.

"Thank you very much for your help! I would really like to thank you... all of you... Once I've been discharge I would really be grateful if you would have dinner with me and my family." She said sincerely.

This was what he was waiting for. He inwardly smiled evilly.

"Let's not talk about that now, sit tight and rest properly." He said with authority and concern regardless of his inner joy he could not show it now.

Afterwards, he left together with Claire and Bill. Throughout this interaction, Claire never said a word but merely kept observing "him" and Reen's interaction curiosity and wariness filled her eyes.

After they left, Reen finally remembered to call Hue and Wisteria. She explained everything and hurriedly reassured them that she was alright as she could hear the obvious worry in their voices.

When Hue and Wisteria finally calmed down, they immediately rushed to the hospital asking so many questions, bombarding the poor doctors. If they were just ordinary people the doctors would have rudely thrown them away a long time ago.

Seeing Hue and Wisteria, Veo and Cookie who were left behind widen their eyes in obvious surprise. Cookie was especially fan girling [1], if Veo didn't stop her she would have immediately hugged the famous couple.

Veo half dragged half pulled Cookie away from the room to give the family some privacy

Reen only had light scratches from being dragged on the shore and no other life risky circumstances. Hue wanted to stop the other half of the filming until she was in better condition which she politely declined.

"This is nothing. I'm fit as a cow." She reassured them earnestly

"But..." Wisteria started protesting

"Really, I'm fine. See? No major injuries." She furled her sleeves to emphasize her point."

At her insistence, Hue and Wisteria conceded in defeat.

She didn't like staying in the hospital as it makes her remember unpleasant things. Other than this she didn't want to inconvenience the crew.

They agreed to continue the filming the day after tomorrow instead just to be sure that nothing was really wrong.

Reen insisted on going to school as well when she knew she only had superficial wounds as not to miss an important examination.

They could only sigh in defeat. They planned to do her hospital discharge the same day, unfortunately "he" was still busy so was not unable to assist them.
