71 Seth
Seth's company was on the verge of bankruptcy and his siblings refused to give him any money. They had repeatedly shouldered his gambling debt as he was still their brother at the end of the day however he did not only stop after this but continued to gamble still.
Each time he would asked from them, they couldn't help but relent which only made his gambling addiction worsen. But recently when he wanted to ask again, his siblings refused to give him a cent.
Seth was shocked at first however he thought it was just them being stubborn and the so called teaching him a lesson but like always they would eventually forgive him.
Because of this notion, he continued his addiction as it was hard for him to stop coupled with his mistress lavish spending their debt got bigger and bigger.
He yet again asked from his siblings some money but he was too late to realize that they were actually serious. He begged his favored sister who had spoiled him the most.
His sister relented but the amount was not enough to actually save his company, she suggested to approach his wife reminding him that 7 million was allocated to them 2 years ago when their father had died.
Their father gave them this money as a way to compensate for the shameless of his son. Seth who was openly known then to have a mistress and abandoned his wife did not argue during that time as he was given 200 million and in his mind 7 million held no significance whatsoever.
His sister did not even stop for a moment to think that his brother left the woman with 3 of her children all alone with nothing to support these growing children throughout their growth. He had cased aside his wife for a younger woman who was not even older than 20 years old then.
She turned a blind eye [1] on this obvious fact as whatever her brother does, she believes to be right, thinking that it was his wife's fault for not properly taking care of Seth and her looks thus leading to this result.
Yet again not understanding that despite having maids she was still juggling her responsibilities in taking care of their 3 children and managing some affairs of the company when Seth had gambled his life away.
Remembering this and seeing his last hope, he went to seek his wife smiling brightly as though all the betrayal did not happen.
Seth smiled warmly at them ignoring the hostility from Sophia and helplessness of their mother whom repeatedly refused to give him a cent as she claimed she did not have any money left while she hugged and shielded her children behind her.
Despite being having a broken heart and betrayed, the woman still gave him face as she once and still loved him but even if she wanted to help him he couldn't.
