6 Piqued Interest

"Thank you very much for your help!"

"No need for that Miss Nadia, I didn't even do anything except carry her stuff." He frankly said

After settling everything, Reen risked away by Hue to rest and dismissing all the servants for tonight, Wisteria finally addressed Uoron who they left in their living room while they busied themselves.

Hue had briefly explained how they met to Wisteria while waiting for the servants who were changing and bathing Reen to be done. Though she was sure that he only stopped by out of curiosity she was still thankful that he was their when things happened. If he wasn't, she wouldn't know what Hue would have done.

Remembering the cause of all this, she couldn't help but get angry as well. Like Hue, Wisteria was also a very protective person regardless if the fault lies in her family or anyone else who was close to her she would defend them through the bitter end. Mentally shaking her head she then took a deep breath to calm herself and finally smiled gratefully at Uoron.

Uoron chose to ignore her reaction; he knew he should not overstep his involvement to this family, at least not yet.

Wisteria invited Uoron to stay for dinner however seeing her mind was preoccupied he politely declined, Wisteria understanding his intent was relieved. She knew it was rude to feel this way but she was really worried about Reen. She believed it was ruder to be absentminded and pretend to be alright and not properly entertain their guests.

Her initial invitation was out of courtesy but with sincerity, if he did agree to it then they would prepare a scrumptious meal.

"This guy seems to be well verse in reading other people's thoughts." Wisteria mentally thought

After a few minute of idle chatter she called Ardin to bring Uoron home. Uoron initially declined yet again as he can just go home on his own but Wisteria persisted.

"Let us do at least this much. We'll surely invite you for dinner at a more appropriate time."

Uoron then politely accepted her gesture. Not minding that she didn't asked his contact details for the promise dinner.

"With their level of power, I'm sure they'll know my information soon enough." He bid her goodbye as these thoughts swirled around his mind.

While inside the car, throughout the interaction he had with them. He couldn't take a good look at the girls' face. The only thing he could remember where those mesmerizing eyes. He couldn't help but be captivated by those eyes despite the negativity they executed. He wanted to yank them out and put it on display.

He smirked as he stared at the house until he couldn't see it anymore. He looked straight at the driver interest evident in his eyes. Ardin shivered by the intensity of the stare.

"The way he stares, it couldn't be his interested in me?" Ardin mentally thought to himself but immediately put it out of his mind.

After a few more seconds, Uoron looked outside the window while crossing his arms onhis chest. Ardin sighed and focus back to his driving.
