77 Fuel

When she finally arrived, Sophia's corpse that was facing flat forward on the floor while her knees and arms were bend, her right arm was spread out while the other was placed disorderly onto her other side.

She went near the right spread arm as she placed the two severed arm to its side. On her arm was an identical silver bracelet with a single puzzle piece.

For the tanned arm it was in powder blue color, for the pale arm it was in baby pink shade while on Sophia's arm was a red one while on her broken arm was a plain silver one.

A wood beam from the burning roof had fallen directly onto Sophia's corpse severing her arm from her body along the way. As the body burned, Reen snapping out of her trance hurriedly gathered the severed arm as she cough and tried to run towards the exit.

As mentioned previously, their house was small for a two story building so she immediately arrived at their door. However upon arrival she saw that it was blocked by a fallen wood beam which was burning and blocking her only exit.

Despair yet again hanged around her as she cursed

"Sh*t! god! How can you be- *cough* you be so unfair! *cough*" she cursed loudly.

"I have to survive, only through surviving will I be able to extract my revenge on that b*stard and hoar!" She mentally repeatedly thought to herself trying to make her unconsciousness active as the smoke and fire got bigger and bigger.

Despite experiencing this devastating situation she didn't dare surrender. Through experiencing the real cruelty of the world, Reen from this day onward matured even more than she already was.

"Just you wait! I'll kill you with my own hands then feed your flesh to the pigs!" She vehemently said.

She kept on cursing them as it became the fuel for her will to live, in order to extract the revenge they truly deserve.

She was not really a strong believer of God but this did not mean she didn't worship him but after this day despite her belief, she wouldn't mind rotting and dragging those two to hell as long as she can quench the hatred in her heart.

When she squint her stinging eyes to find a gap she could fit to pass through the door, she coughs again.

Her slightly tan body started turning red, she could feel her flesh stinging and peeling a bit. Some of hair had caught on fire making it uneven as some were shorter than the other. She was in so much pain yet she kept on persevering.

The door suddenly opened making the burning beam fall and covering her with its ashes.

"Thank God you're alive!" A voice not so old yet not so young floated into her ears. Hearing this and finally knowing someone was here regardless of who it was, she closed her eyes and fell tiredly on the floor.

As she was in her last thread of consciousness, shouts for help and the sound of the fire truck and ambulance greeted her as she succumbs to sleep while she still held the severed arms not ever letting it go.
