The river was not that deep however if you fell from the distance from their villa onto it, you accidentally hitting your head on a rock or similar accidents couldn't be avoided.

However, because of Uoron's flexible and strong build, he was able to avoid such mishaps. Besides the small cuts, scratches and a few wounds here and their Uoron was totally fine or as far as Claire could guess seeing him from this height.

She had once again looked at the hole when she was sure the guard was not near her hiding place anymore.

Uoron had stayed a few minutes inside the river holding his breath as much as he could knowing that the action he did would attract the guard's attention.

He was not worried that Claire would rant him out as yet again he believed she would be too timid to do so.

"If she really wanted to rant about me, she would have done it earlier." He thought to himself.

After a few minutes, he slowly swam near the shore and made his way to the forest. In fact he had a deep cut on his left hand which out of instinct he had used to grab a rock to slow down his fall. But the blood from it was washed away when he landed at the river so Claire could not see it even with her 20/20 vision.

"Wew! That really was dangerous!" Uoron could not help but think a little fearfully.

After making sure that everything was clear and safe and knowing that he did not have that much time to waste anymore, after glancing briefly at the hill, he hurriedly stood up and run as fast as he could towards the middle of the forest.

Claire kneeled on the ground, frozen in place not knowing what to do as fear started creeping in her heart.

Uoron run as far as he could, he only stopped when he was quite a distant away from their villa as his breathing became labored. He leaned onto a branch for support.

Despite the wounds, exhaustion and sweat pouring from his body, a smile could not help but bloom from his attractive and slightly mature face.

"I'm free!" He whispered

After finally getting his bearing, he slung his bag on his back and started walking aimlessly wondering what he should do next.

He brought a waterproof small bag with him with some cash, spare clothes and phone which were shock and waterproof. However as he wanted to lighten his burden he only brought what he thought would be the necessary so he only had a few things with him.

As he was walking aimlessly wondering how he could go back to civilization, he could not help but notice a faint voice in this desolate forest.
