124 Cookie and Veo

Sae and Reen who were left behind talk about light topics as their previous encounter was still on their minds. From the initial awkwardness, as they talked more it changed into a more comfortable moment between them thought if seen from another perspective the way they acted was akin to a first time awkward couple on a date.

After a while, the group bought the juices and returned to the awkward "couple". They laughed and talked casually until they notice someone appeared near them, Reen had a startled expression on her face. These people were smiling directly at her.

"Hi!"

"Veo… Cookie it's you! What are you doing here?" She said in surprise

"Can't we?" Cookie said teasingly

She smiled that smile that could take anyone's breath away, she didn't know how this person can take a girl's breath with just a simple gesture like a smile.

Cookie who noticed her reaction made her smile wider, she perfectly knew the charms of her own smile. Sae looked at Reen first then at the mysterious smiling girl and then at then handsome man beside her trying to guess their relationship with Reen.

The four people group who was back from buying their drinks looked at them, Diola and Mirly's breath got caught in their throat looking at Cookie's smiling face and Veo's handsome face; gaining a jealous glare from both Chad and Skie.

"Reen? You know them?" Mirly tentatively asked still a bit bewildered. This was not the first time Mirly and Diola saw a handsome man but regardless who wouldn't be stars struck seeing such beautiful people.

"Oh! I'm being rude." Reen stood up hurriedly and stood in the between the two groups.

"Guys this is Cookie and Veo, a friend of mine, Cookie… Veo these are my friends, Sae, Mirly, Chad and Skie."

"Hello everyone, it's nice to meet you." Cookie enthusiastically said while sizing up the three men, Veo nodded in greeting.

"Hello" they answered back

Reen peered around Cookie and Veo, Veo noticing this smirked which irritated Mirly who was still looking at him.

"Why is this guy smirking? I know my friend's cute you don't have to look at her that way."

Mirly who got over her daze was clearly misinterpreting Veo's amused filled smile. Chad who was constantly peeking at her saw how she gazed in a love struck manner at Veo, his brows furrowed seeing so.

Diola was still looking at him fascinated by his charming smile, Skie noticing Diola's admiration step on Diola's's foot.

"OUCH! What was that for?!" she glared at him, hopping in one foot while holding her juice in one hand

"It was an accident." He tried to smile innocently but it became a cross between a smile and a glare.

"What?! You know, if you want attention don't go stepping on people's foot."

"Like I said it was an accident." He tried to suppress his genuine smile now highly amused by his girlfriend's reaction.

Diola had bend down to examine her aching foot and stared up at him with a glare. She stood up and tried to step on his feet too, Skie skillfully evaded her and they started playing foot stomping.

Diola's anger melted away and she was laughing as she stomp his foot and run away in glee. Skie feeling happy as well started to chase after her then stomp lightly on her foot as retaliation. Of course both had use minimal force to do the stomping.
