95 Caught in the Act

Despite being confuse at what they plan to do she merely nodded her head in silent consent. Hue and Wisteria did not plan to tell Reen anything about what happened to the fight between Seth and Lilith and even the adoption process.

"Now go and changed your clothes, you stink to high heavens [1]." Hue said as he pinch his nose in a joking manner.

"Eww something stinks like a stink bug!" Wisteria playfully joined Hue

Reen pouted then smelled herself noticing she indeed smelled but not as stinky as they made her to be she made a face at them and hurried off knowing that they were teasing her.

Wisteria's smiled at her disappearing back then her smile turned to a chilly one as she held Hue's hand tightly, Hue squeezing it back as he too had the same icy glare. He then hugged her towards him in comfort.

"This is just the first step… for Elena… for Damon… for Sophia and especially for the living Reen." Wisteria whispered as she too hugged Hue back.

She stared at him then he stared back after smiling warmly at her, the previous scary moment disappearing completely as it was replaced by an ambiguous atmosphere. Their faces were going closer and closer until they could even feel each other's breath,

"Hey Aunt, Uncle I forgot to-" Reen who had left a while ago returned and saw this intimate scene.

"I didn't see anything! Just continue" She timidly said as she blushed bright red

She covered her as she said this then opened them to peak and closed it again.

"Carry on~" she bashfully said cursing herself for interrupting their intimate moment.

"How would I even know they'll start doing such things after I leave! Even as far as doing it in the living room. My gosh!"

She half blamed them and herself. They were actually not doing anything indecent at all but that did not stop her from imagining things upon stumbling at such an ambiguous moment.

She peeked again and seeing them frozen like stones she squealed and run away covering her red face.

Wisteria with her bright red octopus face buried her face into Hues' chest lightly punching him.

"You!"

She shook her head in embarrassment while blaming the also victim Hue.

Hue signed smiling helplessness at these two women in his life now but indulgently patted Wisteria on the head taking all the blame for the incident.

After that cherished moment and a few minutes of consoling the embarrass wife, they brought the necessary documents to a still red faced yet cleaned Reen to sign. After that they called Ardin [2] to bring the signed documents to Smith's office to finalize everything.

After a few days, Reen had finally become their official daughter.
