1 Chapter 1

Many crows circled the night skies of a tiny Village called Evana. Soldiers dressed in heavy battle armour swarmed the hopeless Village in unison. Many deafening cries of the villagers are exclaimed unto the moon and soldiers, as though they have been cursed with their presence. Men fight back desperately to prevent the children from being taken away.

The armoured men did not flinch nor hesitate as they took the children along with their Celestials.

"This one is no good," Spoke a man.

The armoured man moaned in anger, tossing a poor celestial puppy away after stabbing it through the neck.

"There was word about an ultra-rare class celestial... Whoever brings information on the owner, we will give your child back!" The man communicated.

The man's word made the village grow slightly silent. Two children aged 15 and 17 huddled inside a broken-down garden-shed, shirking the violence surrounding. The dusty, rotting shed looked as though untouched for a few decades. The Village of Evana had been struck with poverty, a large majority of the land has infertile soil, with only a few acres still able to produce barely edible crops. Being on the outskirts of the Fallen kingdom 'Tiusmo', the land is close by a dangerous forest. The children would call it the 'Den of monsters.

A small boy shouted.

"I know the boy that you're looking for!" said a boy.

The armoured man turned and faced the scared little boy. One of the Children in the shed tensed up.

"Tell me, boy." The man said in an impatient tone.

Before he could utter a word, the boy's tongue was caught by the soldier.

"Waste my time, and I'll cut your tongue." Advised the man.

"H-His name is Rayden Silva, he's an orphan boy."

"Him and his s-sister stay here." said the boy.

The boy's body was struggling to stay on his feet. The man let go of the boy's tongue.

The teary boy dropped his head hoping he'd be spared.

"Where are they?" The man questioned.

"I haven't a clue sir, they were gone before you guys arrived, they usually hang around near the forest with their Celestials." The boy blabbed.

"The forest?" The man asked in question.

looking towards the dangerous forest. Two large figures were heading towards the forest, alongside two other small figures floating in the air.

The man jumped and he called for the men.

"After those two!" Ordered the man.

The girl and boy were running. The harsh breathing was in sync with the sound of coins slapping against the girl's clothes suffocated in her pouch. Their boots slapped onto the muddy ground, splattering on their skin. The sounds of chains striking metal and each other haunted the children.

A small celestial the size of two hands flew alongside the escaping girl. His long black hair flapped against the wind. He wore black attire. His dark skin, red lips, green eyes, sharp nose and pointy ears features were of no ordinary Celestial. He was a devil. His eyes looked concerned as he looked at the girl.

"They're gaining on us!" Alerted the flying devil.

The girl turned to face the tall boy.

"Rayden!" The girl addressed.

Rayden turned his head face to face with the girl as he continued running.

"RUN DAMMIT!" Commanded the girl.

The girl and her Celestial turned around scraping mud on her boots.

'sigh' letting out a deep breath she looks towards the running men. Their figures are growing closer and closer at a fast pace.

"Ivy, come forth." The girl chanted.

The little devil then transformed into a scythe with an enormous blade and an irregularly shaped edge. The blade is blood-red in colour, whilst the mahogany wooden handle is very long and has an indigo leather-bound grip. Due to its unique origins, the scythe is constantly dripping pure blood.

"What the." Man #1 aired out.

"Attack, but don't kill her." Commanded a man.

"Glass strike!" (Idfk how he got glass, he just did.)

"Venom strip!" Utilising the putrid mud on the ground and some water elements to create a venomous substance that can be shaped at will for offensive purposes.

"Air swarm!" This spell condenses the surrounding air elements into many spheres and sends them forth.

Exclaimed three soldiers as they chanted their spells in unison.

The armoured men sent magical attack spells as their Celestials stuck to their sides. Others continued the charge with their swords, spears and other sharp weapons.

The girl stood firm in place, while a faint aura began swarming around her body with the scythe in her right hand.

"Dark variant: spreading barrier!" The girl chanted, emitting a large barrier made of shadows that can absorb oncoming low-level attacks.

At the collision of all the elemental spells a deafening 'boom' sounded and bright flashes of colour turning night into day for a split second.

Meanwhile, Akivalea (the girl), had already fled the battlefield. Rayden sat atop a tree, observing the scene. The village people stared curiously. Smoke from the impact of the elements colliding slowly faded. The armed men with weapons slowed down, waiting to see the girl…

"What the fuck!? That is dark element magic!?" Cried man #2 in disbelief.

A 2 metre tall black wall stood before the soldiers' eyes. The girl and her Celestial were gone, yet the wall still extended longer and higher, blocking the way to the forest.

"Dispel the barrier!" Yelled man #3.

"No." Replied a much larger man who is also dressed differently from the others. He wore brown polished boots, a clean black cloak, a shiny metal belt with a tiny dagger attached, and had long sewer-green hair with a black cloth covering his eyes.

"But sir-"

"They've already fled our area of jurisdiction, and the forest is too dangerous for the likes of you. It'd be like fighting as a headless chicken." The flashy guy said.

"Sir Dylan!"

"It's so fascinating, an Angel Celestial and a dark element user. We'll take what we have for now and leave them." Sir Dylan commented with an exciting tone.

Curled around his shoulder sat a miniature exotic snake.

"Tch, can this guy even see with that stupid cloth around his eyes? Maybe the real headless chicken is him." whispered man #2

The snake on Sir Dylan's shoulder turned sharply towards the man that spoke ill of its master, its eyes staring daggers through his soul. His body slumped with relaxation as though entranced, he began taking steps toward the snake on Sir Dylan's back. The snake still stared into the man's lifeless eyes.

"Haha, if you wanted to see my eyes you should have asked." Sir Dylan snickered.

In response, the snake sounded a sharp 'hiss' aloud.

"Oh, Bell sweetie, shall we purify this poor soul?" Dylan asked his Celestial.

"Dark variant: soul purify." Dylan chanted.

Bell's eyes glowed purple then looked deep into man #2's eyes. The man's body shriveled up as his life force was syphoned from his body then splashed onto the muddy ground, dirtying Sir Dylan's cloak.

"Tsk. I just bought this cloak, disgusting trash. Oi, the rest of you fools get back to the village!" Sir Dylan shouted.

The men stiffed and marched back to the village. Dylan and his Celestial turned to the barrier, Then the eyes of the snake glowed purple once again, and the shadow barrier shattered into nothingness...

"Hmmm, she still has a long way to go." Said sir Dylan with a freakishly big smile.
