I stood alone in my dungeon. It had been destroyed completely and utterly. My title as the largest dungeon was now withered up and gone. I was in a state of shock as I watched my body slowly fade away out of existence. I had experienced a fulfilling life, a truly joy filled life, and with these thoughts I was gone.
Or at least I thought I would have been gone. After all when a dungeon's core and dungeon itself are destroyed it can no longer live in the world and so it would fade away into nothingness. In that moment however I awoke just as I had every day before. Now, I stood in a place I was all to familiar with. It was my dungeon, but in it's beginning days. I felt a refreshment of some kind deep within my soul. I felt more complete yet I had already been complete before. It was like I had gained a new add on to my already complete soul from a past version of myself.
Looking around the room I thought at first it was time reversal, but that started changing when I looked beyond my dungeon. To keep my life intact and send me back into the beginning form of my dungeon to who knows where was an amazing feat of magic. All I could truly say about it, was that the amount used to send me here was likely thousands maybe even millions of times more powerful than what I could use before my accident. So who was so interested in me. Who wanted to give me, a dungeon during its fall a second chance. I wasn't freaked out by the whole thing, I was honestly grateful for having my life saved, but I wondered. If I ever found out who did it one day I would give it my sincere thanks.
Standing still I took every emotion and every sight into me before I once more calmed down. Now I only had 3 questions on my mind, who decided to save me, what reason did they decide to save me for, and finally if there was any other cores who were saved. After that one final question resounded out in my brain, I had a random thought. 'Was I able to live again just like this over and over."
The questions could wait however no matter how much I wished to know. I knew that currently I had no way to find out and so it would be nothing but a waste. Plus, considering in my old world a world filled with magic and aura and other such things. It was simply easy for some old monster to come out and kill us dungeon cores at any time. While that just meant all we needed to do to stay alive was avoid causing trouble for them. It still wasn't enough sometimes when certain people needed ways to blow off steam. That isn't even considering the potential of the world I now found myself in. My situation could either be a blessing or a curse when facing new potential powers and other things.
Looking around I got to work. My dungeon core was located in the center of the forest I found myself in. I wasn't in a cave like many cliche other cores, no I lived in forests all the time even in my old world. Honestly it saved me from having to use daily Dungeon Mana to create self regrowing trees and constantly changing weather including even the ever so useful fog.
Going back over all the functions I decided to get a quick overview of what I still had available to use. The first thing I looked at was how much experience I had. I was currently a completely fresh lv.1 dungeon. The next thing I looked over was at the amount of Dungeon Mana I had. Looking at it I had the default amount. I had a grand total of 5000 points in total.
Next I went to the status and looked it over.

Done going over all my things I smiled reading the rebirth title, but I also frowned considering that the system knew who it was but was to afraid to speak of that person. It was truly an interesting situation I find myself. The only thing I could say about it for sure though was that it was indeed helpful. It had also partially answered my question in a roundabout fashion. Nodding to myself I finally got ready to set up my dungeon.
