"Sir, Madam looks distressed." Nigel's voice shook Mokami awake. He looked at the warm figure in his arms with a smile, as he registered what Nigel reported.

'Where is she?' He asked in his mind.

"She is on the balcony in her room, sir. I didn't want to invade her privacy as you commanded, but when the balcony door opened in the middle of the night, I felt obliged to check it out whereupon I saw the Madam gazing at the ocean in a depressed mood.

Mokami gently placed Momo down on the bed, making sure she was comfortable before getting up after kissing her on the forehead. He made his way to the balcony, where Mika stood, forlornly gazing at the ocean. He approached her, standing quietly by her side, waiting for her to speak.

"Moka-chan," she finally said without turning back, her voice soft and sad. "I saw you and Momo return. You two looked so happy."

Mokami nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "I wanted to make her happy, Mom. We are going to be leaving soon, and I wanted to give her a memory to hold on to, and to myself as well."

Mika sighed, looking out at the ocean again. "I wish I could have done something like that for you. I wish I could have been a better mother to you."

Mokami shook his head, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "You are the best mother I could hope for, Mom. You always did your best for us."

Mika turned to face him, her eyes brimming with unshed tears. "There's something I need to tell you, Moka-chan. Something I've been keeping from you for a long time."

Mokami's heart skipped a beat. "What is it, Mom?"

Mika took a deep breath before continuing. "I... I have feelings for you, Mokami. More than just a mother's love."

Mokami's eyes widened in shock, but before he could say anything, Mika spoke again. "I know it's wrong, and I've tried to bury these feelings. But seeing you with Nejire and Momo made me realize that I can't keep hiding from them. I just wanted you to know."

Mokami stood there, unsure of what to say. He had never imagined that his own mother would confess feelings for him just before he left for internship. He of course knew how Mika felt, but he thought she was still uncertain. Although he too loved her, he didn't want to push her beyond her comfort zone to make her regret later on. He couldn't be that cruel to her. As for his feelings... He knew it was wrong, but he couldn't help expressing it as well. He too loved his mother more than a son could or should.

Mokami's mind raced as he tried to process his mother's confession. He knew it was wrong and taboo, but he couldn't deny the feelings he had for her. They had always been close, and as he grew older, he began to realize that his love for her was more than just a son's love.

Mika looked at him, her eyes full of sadness and uncertainty. "I know, Moka-chan. I don't expect you to feel the same way. I just wanted to be honest with you."

Mokami took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart. "Mom, I... I love you too. More than just a son's love."

Mika's eyes widened in surprise, and then she smiled, tears running down her cheeks. "Oh, Moka-chan, I'm so glad. I thought you would be disgusted or angry."

Mokami shook his head, taking his mother's hand in his. "I could never be angry with you, Mom. I love you more than anything in this world."

They stood there, holding each other's hands, tears streaming down Mika's face. Mokami knew that their relationship would never be the same again, but he also knew that they were in this together. They would face whatever came their way, hand in hand.

Mokami looked at his mother, knowing that this was not the time to discuss their newfound love.

"Mom, Momo and I will have to go soon. But we will talk about this when I come back. I wish I had spoken to you earlier, so I could express my love to you properly, but I have to leave so abruptly."

"You already gave me everything I could ask for, Moka-chan." Mika nodded, wiping her tears away.

"We will talk when you come back."

He stood by her side, gazing out at the ocean with her, and they shared a peaceful moment of silence.

Finally, Mika turned to him and smiled. "You're going to have a wonderful time in Egypt, Moka-chan. I know it."

Mokami smiled back at her, feeling a rush of gratitude for his mother's unwavering support. "Thank you, Mom. I couldn't come this far without you."

They hugged each other tightly, and Mokami felt a sense of comfort in his mother's embrace. He knew that no matter what challenges he faced in the coming week, he would always have his family's love and support to guide him through.

Mokami gave his mother a tight hug before turning to leave. As he walked out of the room, he knew that everything had changed, but he also knew that he was not alone. He couldn't help but feel blessed. He had a great, big family that loved him very much, and he felt like the luckiest man alive. He knew that no matter where life took him, he would always have a home to come back to, and people who would always have his back.

He walked into his room and found Momo still sleeping peacefully. He sat down next to her, stroking her hair gently, and whispered, "I love you, Momo. I'll be back soon, and we'll make more amazing memories together."

He kissed her forehead and stood up, making his way to the kitchen. As he opened the door to leave, he turned back and looked at her sleeping form once more, feeling a pang of sadness in his heart. But he knew that this was just a temporary separation, and that they would be together again soon. Now, he had to prepare an amazing breakfast to satiate little Eri or she would cry her eyes out when he and Momo were about to leave.

'This is going to be difficult.' He sighed as he started to make pancakes.
