14 PART 14 ~ A NEW LIFE WILL BEGIN

Briel covered her face. She couldn't stop thinking about Jenny's thoughts.

Hahaha...

Briel laughed loudly to Jenny's surprise. Jenny then touched Briel's forehead.

"Briel, calm down. I'm here. You'll be fine," Jenny said frantically.

"What are you saying? Gosh! I'm not in a trance," said Briel while still laughing loudly until some of the visitors there looked at Briel.

"You suddenly laughed loudly, scared me. I thought you were possessed by a genie," said Jenny.

Briel held her stomach. Gosh, she really couldn't stand it and wanted to pee immediately.

"Jenn, I'm going to the toilet for a bit. I can't help but want to pee," said Briel and quickly got up from her seat. Briel ran to find the restroom in the restaurant. After getting it, she rushed into the women's restroom.

"Ah!" Briel breathed a sigh of relief when she managed to pee. She remembered what Jenny had said, which was even more amusing. Jenny thought she was in a trance when she suddenly laughed.

'She's my friend, hi-hi-hi...' Briel chuckled again.

Briel came out of the toilet as soon as she finished urinating. She accidentally bumped into someone who suddenly passed towards her.

"Sorry," said Briel as she looked up at the person.

The person was flabbergasted to see Briel.

Briel's body crashed into the toilet door when the person suddenly threw a slap on Briel's cheek. Briel was of course unprepared for an attack that hit her suddenly or even too quickly.

"What are you doing? Have you gone mad? Why did you slap me?" shouted Briel while staring blankly at the person who was none other than a woman.

Briel is furious. Who is that woman? How dare she slap Briel?

The woman approached Briel, she glared at Briel. Briel gasped, she remembered who the woman was now.

Briel threw a slap back in the woman's face when she got very close to her.

"How dare you slap me!" cried the woman.

Briel smiled fiercely. She pushed the woman's body until the woman who was currently wearing heels lost her balance and fell to the floor. Briel crouched down, she pulled the woman's hair so that the woman's face looked up.

"Hey, let me go!" cried the woman.

"How dare you slap me, you think I dare not retaliate against you, ha?" growled Briel.

Briel pushed the woman's head, she stood back up and stared at the woman blankly.

"We don't even know each other, but you attacked me instead! If you have a problem, settle it with that monster! Don't attack me, damn it! I don't even know anything between you two!" growled Briel.

The woman growled, she immediately got up and glared at Briel.

"Get out of the way!"

Briel pulled the woman's body aside until her body hit the toilet door.

After that, Briel walked out of the toilet.

'She's gone mad, she attacked my fellow women just because of that bastard man!' Briel grumbled midway to get back to Jenny.

Arriving at the table, Briel pulled up her chair and sat down in annoyance.

"What's the matter, Briel? Your face is suddenly so wrinkled, did you see anything in the toilet?" asked Jenny.

Briel nodded while puffing her cheeks.

"See what? Tell me!" said Jenny enthusiastically, bringing her face closer to Briel's.

"Ghosts," said Briel nonchalantly.

"What? Really? So you saw it?" Jenny asked.

Briel nodded.

Jenny looked at Briel's face, there was something odd about Briel's face.

"What's with your cheek, Briel?" asked Jenny.

Briel frowned, she took the small mirror in her bag and rushed to check her cheeks.

Briel was flabbergasted to see her cheeks were so red and there were also visible finger marks.

'Oh my, my cheeks. That woman is crazy,' thought Briel angrily.

"Briel, what are you doing again?" Jenny asked as she poked Briel's cheek with her index finger.

Briel and Jenny gasped when someone walked past their table and looked their way. The person's gaze looked strange as he looked at Briel and Jenny taking turns.

"What's with him?" Jenny asked in a low voice as if she was whispering.

"He probably thought we were a couple," said Briel.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Jenny asked confused.

"He means I'm your girlfriend. Yeah, he thinks we're dating, maybe," said Briel.

Jenny gasped, suddenly she covered her mouth.

"Crazy, is that really what that person thought?" asked Jenny.

"Maybe, because we're so close," said Briel.

"Gosh," Jenny hurried back to her seat. She patted her forehead. It's really bad if someone thinks like that.

"Come on, don't think about it." Briel chuckled at Jenny's expression. She was very surprised at her friend thinking about such unimportant things.

Not long after the food order arrived, the two girls ate their food.

After that, Briel and Jenny left the restaurant. Both returned to their respective homes.

Briel's car arrived at Erland's residence. She hurriedly got out of the car and started to enter the Erland residence.

As Briel was about to climb the stairs, Briel smelled the aroma of cooking. She ignored the scent and rushed towards the bedroom.

Arriving in the room, Briel saw Lely changing the bed cover.

Lely, who noticed Briel's arrival, then looked at Briel.

"Hello, Miss. By the way, where have you been, Miss?" asked Lely.

Briel sat on the sofa, she leaned her body against the back of the sofa. Her hand touched her cheek again. The pain from the slap seemed to still be there.

"A place to paint," said Briel.

"Oh, I see. Would you like something to eat, Miss?" asked Lely.

"No thanks. I want to sleep," said Briel tiredly.

"Okay, the bed is ready. Have a good rest, Miss," said Lely and rushed out of the room.

Briel got up from the sofa, she only realized when she saw every corner of the room and the room looked more neat and clean than before.

Briel got into bed and fell asleep.

*** evening.

Briel blinked before finally opening her eyes wide and it felt like she saw a tall figure in front of her.

A moment later, Briel closed her eyes again.

'Looks like I slept too long,' Briel mumbled and sat up.

Briel looked back at the figure that was getting closer to her. Briel's reflex touched the figure's face.

"Explain all this!"

Briel was dumbfounded, she moved away from the figure that looked so terrifying in her eyes. Why does the figure look real? thought Briel.

"Please! Please wake me up from my nightmare!" shouted Briel so loudly.

The figure that Briel saw earlier covered Briel's mouth with his palm. Briel couldn't stay still, causing the figure to fall on top of Briel's body.

"Ah, ah... What are you doing?" shouted Briel in a stuttering voice.

"What's wrong, Miss... Aaaaaa... Sorry!" shouted Lely and Sammy who had just entered the bedroom and saw something that startled them both. They both ran towards the door and out of the bedroom.

Lely accidentally closed the door with a bang.

"Hey, can't you guys work properly!" shouted the figure Briel had seen so frightening earlier.
