Chapter 2: Crazy Magician Meets Supposed To Be Father

Warring States Period.

During the Warring States Period, the countries of the world were uniformly small, constantly battling each other for land, power, and opportunity. To fight these battles, countries hired one or more clans of mercenary shinobi to represent their interests, the shinobi's loyalties ultimately going to the highest bidder. The constant warfare, in turn, led to constant death, creating an average lifespan of only thirty years. Children were the greatest victims of the era, forced to fight for their clan no differently than an adult would and, more often than not, being killed by older and more skilled opponents. In the Land of Fire; There are dozens of Shinobi Clans ranging from weak to strongest.

Currently, there are 4 Shinobi Clans that were feared by other smaller and weaker clans while sought by the hungry power clients such as the leader of the small countries.

The four are; the Senju Clan which famous for their balanced skill; the Uchiha Clan, famed for their dojutso, the Sharingan: the Uzumaki Clan, for their Sealing Techniques and lastly; the Genju Clan.

The Genju Clan was relatively famous for its unique Kekkai Genkai; the Gravity Release.

It was rumored that a Genju Shinobi who had awakened the Gravity Release could increase or decrease the Gravity around them based on their proficiency over their Kekkai Genkai.

Though most of the Shinobi of Genju Clan could only slightly decrease or increase the Gravity around them it was still highly feared.

The reason was simple, because of the rigorous training and chakra strengthening shinobi bodies a slight increase of gravity would only slow them down a bit but what if ten Genju Shinobi used their Gravity Release at the same time? It would be disastrous. The enemy shinobi's bodies would be crumbled to the ground with their bones slowly break into bits and those broken bones would pierce their internal organs, etc, resulting in their death.

And the Genju Shinobi didn't move alone but in a group and that had made the others fear them.

Unless they made a perfect ambush plan, where the Genju Shinobi wouldn't be able to use their Gravity Release then there are no hopes, at all.

Genju Kinshi, the Patriarch of the infamous Genju Clan was currently walking back and forth in front of his son's room.

Genju Kinshi had fought countless battles and many of them are life or death battles, and those battles had made him not fear death, he didn't even fear anything other than his Children's well being.

And right now, his fear is happening.

Earlier, the maid who usually wakes his son every morning comes to him with a panicked expression.

Most of the Genju Clansmen are shinobi, who had fought life and death battles that made them hardened their emotions and now seeing the maid who is also a shinobi, running towards him with a panicked expression made his heart stopped a bit as he knows something bad had happened to the maid that had managed to break her usually stoic face.

Without even waiting for the maid to say her announcement, the patriarch had vanished from his spot as he hurriedly went to his son's room.

As soon as he had arrived at the front of the door of his son's room, he sensed that someone else had already entered his son's room.

Genju Kinshi is not only a powerful shinobi but also a wide range sensor.

Genju Kinshi halted his back and forth walking and looked at the woman leaving his son's room.

"How's my son?" Genju Kinshi lightly asked.

"His condition has been stabled, but..." the woman bowed at him before answering.

Genju Kinshi sighed inwardly hearing the first part of the sentence but slightly became tensed in the last part.

"Say it." He calmed himself for a moment before commanding the woman.

"Because of his head injury, there's a high chance that he will lose-"

"All right, you can leave." Knowing what she's going to say, Genju Kinshi immediately entered the room without even looking at the woman.

The woman bowed again before leaving.

"Sigh~," Genju Kinshi sadly sighed while looking at his son's unconscious body.

Craze's head was enveloped by bandages, which have been soaked by his blood.

"Ugh..."

Upon hearing his son's groaned, Genju instantly appeared by his son's side.

"How are you feeling?" Craze slowly opened his eyes and immediately saw a tall man by his side.

Craze just looked at the tall man beside him and a flash of enlightenment appeared in his eyes.

"...father?" Craze asked with a tone of uncertainty.

"Hm." As soon Genju Kinshi heard the first word of his son who had just woken up, he couldn't help but smile as he nodded.

"Why am I here?" Craze asked while looking around his room.

"You have been injured and kt looks like you're the one who hurt yourself." Genju Kinshi said while looking at the bloodied broken pieces of vase beside his son's bed.

"Hm, I don't remember doing that but..." Craze thoughtfully said he changed his posture into sitting.

"It looks like I did hurt myself," Craze added while looking at the bloodied broken pieces of vase beside him.

"Don't worry, I will fully investigate this matter. This can't be taken too lightly." Genju Kinshi said as he looked at the ceiling.

Whoosh

Suddenly, a person wearing light metal plates that protect his vital spots appeared beside Genju Kinshi.

"Your order, patriarch?" The man asked as he kneeled down before Genju Kinshi.

"Investigate this matter, I need a report as soon as possible." The man nodded as he disappeared with a gust of wind leaving the 2 alone.

Unknown to Genju Kinshi, a glint flashes Craze's eyes but it quickly disappeared.

Tug

As soon as Craze smashed his head with the hard vase, he quickly lost conscience but within a minute after he loses his conscience, he woke up, but still pretend to be unconscious.

Then, after a minute of waiting outside of her Young Master's room, the maid felt something's off. She decided to enter his room even though she might get punished but because of her instincts were kicking, she determined to check her Young Master even though she might get punished for it.

Then, as soon as she opened the door, she quickly smelled the scent of something very similar when she was fighting her enemies.

Blood.

She immediately entered the room and saw her Young Master's condition, his head was covered with blood and broken pieces were beside him.

The maid gasped in horror.

Why?

Because if her Young Master dies then the whole clan would be on a rampage.

As a Shinobi, the first thing she learned was basic first aid kit and she used what she learned to tend her Young Master's head injury and as soon as the blood finally stopped seeping out, she quickly left to inform the patriarch of the clan, and while on her way towards the patriarch she met the Medical-nin of the Genju Clan. She immediately came towards her and told what happened to her Young Master.

The Medical-nin quickly went into Craze's room as soon as she heard his condition.

And after a minute of healing Craze's head injury, she left the room and saw the patriarch, then the patriarch asked her about Craze's condition, she bowed first then replied.

While all of this happening, Craze was using his best friend magic, 'Clairvoyance', he always used this magic technique when he peep-, no, spy some matters.

With the pair of using sound magic, he could see and hear what is happening outside his room as though he was there.
