11 Almost hopeless

"Don't go ..."

Nadine frowned, didn't her ears catch the sound wave that Justin was making wrong?

"Hey, you didn't fall in love with me at first sight, did you?"

Justin blinked several times before finally pushing Nadine's body and almost made Nadine fall.

"You heard wrong. I told you to go." Said Justin lied.

Nadine laughed, but not laughing happily but laughing irritably. "So you mean I'm deaf?"

"Maybe," Justin replied indifferently.

Oh, Nadine wanted to grab Justin's hair right now.

"You shameless man!" Nadine cursed before leaving in annoyance.

Justin can sigh of relief now while holding his pounding chest, Justin catches his breath and was grateful that Nadine has left.

"Nadine's so creepy." Justin realized that the current Nadine was Nadine who is very different from his former lover Nadine. They are like different people.

Justin was about to step back into his reading room, but suddenly his phone rang.

Unknown number, Justin thought for a moment before finally picking up the phone call

"You've done something wrong to me twice, first hugged me and now pushed me. I don't care and don't want to know, you just have to sign the contract, or I will sue you. YOU SHAMELESS BASTARD !!!"

Justin has not had time to answer Nadine's words, which sounded cursing at him because Nadine had turned off the phone first.

Justin should be angry, but he just smiled. Like getting to know someone new, not a woman he loved for a dozen years.

Justin bit his lower lip, he couldn't stop smiling because Nadine was so brave. She was different and makes Justin forget about his broken heart because of Nadine.

Sammy didn't dare to say anything because Nadine's perfect and bright appearance was inversely proportional to the look on her face right now.

Nadine's face was dark as a storm cloud, so terrifying that it scared Sammy.

"Change my phone and move all the data."

"Yes, mam."

Sammy was about to touch Nadine's cellphone but suddenly Nadine hit the table, making Sammy shocked.

"How about what I ordered before?"

As the secretary, Sammy should have reported everything but Sammy was scared so he didn't dare to say it

Sammy lowered his gaze, afraid that he would have a heart attack if he looked into Nadine's angry eyes.

Nadine has not agreed to Sammy's proposal but Sammy has already left the room.

Sammy walked quickly past the staff booths to quickly come to the Marina room.

"Hey, the boss is looking for you." Sammy just peeked behind the slightly open Marina door.

Marina was initially working calmly, yes, even though the company was still in chaos, she tries to calm down but Sammy seems to bring her nightmares.

Sammy only smiled shamelessly. Inevitably Marina left her desk and peaceful room to meet Nadine immediately before Nadine came to her because if that happened then she would live in a nightmare.

Marina knocked on the door before entering Nadine's room, her face looked wrinkled in fear, especially seeing Nadine's face that looked annoyed.

"You call me ma'am?"

"No, but it looks like Sammy wanted you here."

Nadine's answer annoyed Marina to death, in her heart she cursed, glancing sarcastically at Sammy. "Shit."

Sammy pretended not to notice Marina's gaze by trying to look away. Sammy doesn't know why all the women here are so creepy.

"Then I'll go ..." Marina was about to walk away but Nadine suddenly said "Who told you to go? Don't you two owe me a report?"

Marina and Sammy just looked at each other, they didn't answer and made Nadine finally got up from behind her desk and stood in front of them.

"Why hasn't the meeting started yet?"

"It's because we haven't got any results yet," Marina replied, looking down in fear.

"Why? Why are you all so slow? There are millions of people in this country, is it so hard to find talented people?"

Marina finally managed to raise her face and looked at Nadine and explained. "Nobody believes in our company anymore. The departure of all the actors at once makes everyone think we are bad management. Some investors have already withdrawn their shares. and the value of our company's shares is decreasing. We have contacted and even approached actors or actresses as you ordered, but they all refused. They turn off the phone once heard our company name and they did not allow us to show the offer when meeting in person because they just left when we introduced ourselves as Baby Star Entertainment. This company has no more hope."

Nadine clenched her fists so that they hurt her palms from her long nails. She endured the frustration within herself caused by Marcell. If it continues like this then the company will be destroyed.

"Then what else?" Nadine asked as if she knew that there was bad news that Marina didn't dare tell.

"Many of our employees have resigned and it looks like the film producers who asked us to work together already know our current situation. They contacted me this morning and ask for certainty for the male lead in the film they produce within one week or they will end cancel the cooperation between us."

Nadine could not show her weakness, she stood still with the same expression.

"Okay, I understand. You can go."

Marina immediately left, she was a little surprised because Nadine was not angry at all as usual but that just made Marina worried.

"Sammy ..."

Sammy held his breath when Nadine suddenly called out to him.

"Yes ma'am."

"Get me a penthouse at this address and make sure I get unit number nine. I have to be on the same floor as unit eight." Nadine commanded she gave an address to Sammy.

Sammy saw the address, he knew that the location of the penthouse was the most expensive in this city even in this country. It was very difficult to find it, but Nadine left out, as usual, her favorite house so Nadine must have a plan behind it all.

"Alright, ma'am." Without much comment, Sammy left Nadine's room.

Nadine turns around, she has to sit down or she will fall limp but seeing her broken cellphone still on the table makes her feel annoyed again.

"There's something Sammy forgot." Murmured Nadine sighed heavily.
