47 Far from the truth

Diana fled from the crime scene with the excuse of dinner.

Why crime scene? Because having heart-racing moments for her best friend, and being annoyed with him even when he is doing exactly what she wanted by not interfering in her matters, was nothing less than a crime in Diana's dictionary.

Hence, the crime scene.

And somehow, she was beginning to be muddled.

Maybe, just like Maxim had said, things were becoming too convenient with them. Living under the same roof with him lending her a shoulder whenever she needed was making her head muddled and she was confusing their friendship with weird stuff.

Before she confused her feelings even further, Diana knew she had to clear her head first.

She had dinner with Ivy because Logan was not around and Diana concluded the man was still with Maxim's mom, escorting her around.

And Maxim was on a work phone call for the past hour.
