One moment can change everything. Cliche, but true. One moment can hurt or save someone. One moment can decide the fate of millions of people. One moment can change the world. Something came to our world, looking for a way to be free. It's ship, broken down and destroyed, looked like a meteor or space rock. Stranger things had been seen in the sky. It split in the atmosphere and landed across the world. Our world, Earth. Earth had been reaching a boiling point for ages, everything was building up. Bigotry, politics, hate, new science, corruption, addictive food, and even the Earths weather itself began to turn. Everything was building up, it just needed one more thing. The being was a catalyst of sorts, when it was released so was a foreign disease. Hundreds of millions dead, the alien disease gave the younger generation, those that survived, physic-defying abilities. In the first few days, Florida was under water. People with abilities were feared and rounded up. The government wanted, needed, to figure out what was going on. They wanted a cure, so they needed Patient Zero and test subjects.
