1 Craftaholic System

"Where the hell am I?" Argent asked as he rubbed at his tired eyes.

[You are in your personal world, a feature of the Craftaholic System. Current size… One square mile.]

"Ah fuck… I've gone insane, haven't I?" Argent muttered after hearing a voice in his head. Although… the name sounded familiar.

[Scanning… Host appears to be in perfect mental health.]

Argent slapped his face, believing this to be a dream. It left a painful red mark in the shape of a hand-print. Argent determined this must be reality as he could still feel pain.

'All right, so lets say this is all real… What now?' Argent thought while observing his surroundings.

He was in a space a square mile in size according to the voice, sealed in by mist except for the sky, which had a nice blue hue.

Attempting to push into the mist resulted in Argent feeling like he had entered a cloud, only to find himself back where he started.

Determining that he could not leave the space through such means, Argent set about inspecting what was in the immediate area.

At the center of the space there was a single structure, if you could even call it that. Upon first glance it seemed to be an ordinary well with a water bucket pulley system.

However, upon coming closer and inspecting it… Argent discovered a field of text appeared before him.

[The Source: A limitless source of pure water. Current Level: 1]

'Seems like I'm literally inside the game I downloaded onto my phone… Craftaholic…' Argent thought as he linked the surrounding area, the system name, and the starting water source with a mobile game he had played and enjoyed.

"Ah fuck me… I got spirited away into a game, at least it's a peaceful one…" Argent said as he came to terms with all this entails.

He may never see his family or friends again…

"Hey, voice in my head… If you're still there, what does any of this mean?" Argent asked with a sad smile. His future prospects looked bleak at the moment… What was the point in living, if he is a prisoner here for the rest of his life.

"Figures… So now what, am I being sent out on some world saving? Becoming some god-like being's entertainment? Or something else?" Argent asked.

[You are free to do as you wish, both in your personal world, and in Relnia, your new homeworld. The Craftaholic System will serve a support role in your life.]

"Hold up… Relnia? Correct me if I'm wrong, but can I enter another world from here?" Argent asked. He felt a bit of excitement fill his being… an unknown world.

[Correct. Start shift to the world of Relnia?]

"Ye… no, I want to, but first I should prepare myself, considering for me it's an unexplored world." Argent said.

He did not know what would be on the other side. What if he ended up in a hostile environment? He always believed a premature death comes to the unprepared.

"System, what can I do to prepare while in this space, what features do you possess?" Argent asked.

[This space is your personal world, a dimension for your use. Through the interface provided, you can make changes and edit your world.]

- Database: Contains schematics, information, and various guides. Free for you to use.

- Inventory: A sub dimension of your personal world to store your crafts and materials.

- Map: A map of Relnia, fog covers the entire map as you have yet to explore the world.

- Realm Shift: A function that opens a portal to the world of Relnia at a designated location that the host has visited. Blind shifts are also available, which will send you to a random unvisited location in the world.

[The system has provided a starter pack and stored it within your inventory. To open the inventory think about wanting to view it.]

Argent did as instructed and found a list of items he had available to him.

From the starter pack he had gained.

- 10x Ingots of refined iron.

- A beginners forge with the tools to operate it.

- 100x free common herb requests from the store function.

- A beginners alchemy lab with the tools to operate it.

- 10x bolts of common-grade cloth. (dyed gray)

- A beginners tailoring workshop with the tools to operate it.

"Okay… So looks like I'm making my gear?" Argent half asked and half stated.

[Correct.]

"Yeah I kinda figured, what with the name of the system and all… all right, open database, search for introductions on metalworking, alchemy, and tailoring." Argent requested. He had a lengthy study session ahead of him.
