1 The Past

Melody sat back in her saddle and looked out over the rolling hills. This was what she loved more than anything. She often came out her to think and most times sing. She liked hearing her voice drifting over the meadow and Buck, her stallion for many years and best friend, never seemed to mind her singing on their times away. She had wanted this for as long as she could remember. The ranch, the hills, the horses, the stream and her home. The only thing Melody would have changed was having someone to share it with other then her son.

Melody drifted back to years gone as she remembered Bo's arms wrapped around her. She always felt at home there and he was the only man she ever loved.

"You sure baby girl?" Bo's deep voice whispered in her ear.

"I love you Bo," Melody wiggled in his arms trying to convince him she was ready even if she was nervous. "Just do it fast so it doesn't hurt."

Bo stopped moving and looked down into Melodys blue eyes. He brushed the red locks from her face. "Melody, I will never hurt you." He placed a kiss on the tip of her nose and slowly pushed into her.

Melody gasped at the fullness she felt for the first time. Bo felt so good pressed against her and the way he had brought her to life with his touches and kisses. Melody tried to push up against him. She wanted him deeper.

Bo smiled at her need and he pushed until he felt the thin barrier. He's never done this before but he never told melody. This was his first time too and he couldn't imagine being with anyone other then Melody. She was the fire in his soul. With all the love he had buried inside of him for her, he sank his hands in her soft red hair, took her lips again and pushed inside the rest of the way. Her heard her sharp intake of breath and he prayed she didn't make him stop. She felt so good wrapped around him.

Melody felt the quick burn as Bo pushed the rest of the way inside but soon her body adjusted and all the good feelings came rushing back. His mouth on her, his hands in her hair and the slow movements inside her body soon had her hotter then before. "Please Bo," Melody dug her nails into his shoulders, "more"

That was all the encouragement he needed and he quickened his pace. He watched the desire on her face as he felt her tighten around him. Her breathing was harder and faster. She looked like heaven as he watched her give way to the pleasure she was feeling. As he felt her body climax around him, he couldn't control it anymore and he lost himself in her arms.

Melody felt the full weight of Bo as he relaxed on her after he had finished. They were sweaty and hot and she couldn't wait to do this again with him. She tightened her arms around him and sighed. "I love you Bo."

Bo rolled to his side taking Melody with him. She fit perfectly against his side. He entwined his fingers in hers, "I love you too baby girl."

Bo kissed the top of her head as he heard her breathing shifting to sleep. "I want to stay like this forever."

Melody shifted back to the present as Buck snorted and moved his feet. He shifted causing Melody to have to adjust in the saddle.

"Thanks Buck," Melody leaned forward and patted his neck. " somethings are better left in the past and somethings always change."

Melody scanned out over the meadow laying in the hills, she loved this place. Her brothers had always told her she was simple but she was content. She got her acres, her home and a wonderful son. The son was the surprise but he was worth everything to her. He looked just like his daddy and she was sure he was going to get his height too. Bo stood over six feet which always made her feel so tiny next to him. She was only five feet and sometimes felt like she came up to his belly. He use to tell her she only grew until she was perfect and that didn't take long.

Melody swung down out of the saddle as her mind seemed to want to relive those long ago memories. Buck walked along side of her munching the grass as they walked, very content just to be her companion.

Bo was her older twin brothers, Hank and Billy's, friend. He was a couple years older then her and he was around a lot when she was growing up. He always made her smile and blush when he'd come into the house with the boys.

When Melody turned sixteen, the boys were in their last year of high school. There was football, parties, mudding and everything else teenage boys could get into.

She'd heard her brothers talking about the different girls they liked. And which one liked them. Apparently Bo was quite the ladies man and maybe that's what peeked her interest in him. Quarterback of the football team, sexy as hell, black hair, deep brown eyes and he was the only boy brave enough to talk to her. Hank and Billy scared off any boy that came around her. No one was good enough for their little sister.

"Right Mel?" Hank's voice cut into her thoughts. "Bo could always stay here in the spare room. You wouldn't care." Melody turned around to face the kitchen table where her parents and the boys were sat. She gave them a puzzled look and started clearing the table.

"Bo's mom has to move for work and it's not fair the Bo can't finish his last year on the team with us." Billy stated as he grabbed another cookie from the plate.

Melody walked back over to the table, "why you guys asking me?"

"Well Melody, you would be next door to him and he'd have to share your bathroom." Her dad spoke up as he drank some more of his coffee, "You wouldn't care?"

Melody liked the idea of having Bo under their roof, maybe she could get him to look at her as something other then the kid sister. Maybe she could get him to notice her. She turned quickly before anyone saw the flush on her cheeks at the thought. She shrugged her shoulders "Sure...whatever."

"See mom, it'll be great!" Billy jumped up and kissed his moms cheek. "He's always been a part of the family anyway."

Laughing Hank said with a mouth full of cookie, " who knows, maybe he'll marry Mel."

Both brothers burst out laughing as they grabbed Mel from the sink. One brother wrapped their arm around her neck in a mock chokehold and the other one rubbed the top of her head. "Like we'd let that happen. " Billy said as they let her go. "I'll go call Bo now. Thanks mom and dad. He's gonna be so happy."

As the boys took off towards their room, Melody turned to look at her parents who had both gotten very quiet.

"Carl is this the right thing to do?" Mom asked dad but kept looking at Melody.

"I think things will be ok," he stopped looking at Melody and turned towards her mom again, "Sally things have a way of working out." Carl got up from the table and kissed his wife on the cheek. "I'm heading out to the barn, when the boys get down tell them I'll need them."

Melody nodded as she watched her dad head out the back door. Bo was coming to live with them! Melody could barely contain the bubbling giggle that was rising from her belly. This was going to be awesome. Now she just needed to figure out how to get a guys attention.

Melody heard her mom get up from the table and clear the last few things. "Mel? Are you sure about this idea?"

"Oh mom it's fine. Like the boys said, Bo's practically family." I acted like it didn't matter but inside I was so excited and he'd be right next door.
