7 An Impossible Rebirth

While our little Chaos was fighting the young beasts, his master returned to the small house by the lake. He first hugged his mother, then revealed a pained look.

They have gone through this situation numerous times in the past year. Every time he sees his mother, he is reminded by the harsh cruelty of her 'soon to come death'.

If his mother had not consoled him for the past one year frequently, his soul would have already broken, the only thing that still lets him hold on, were revenge and his little brother.

"Did he wake up?" He asked after a long time. For the past one year, since that incident, his little brother was in a state of coma.

"He would soon." She answered him, "but he is different from you, from his birth he had only me and Koka, so when he learnt of my destiny of death, he chose to avoid me. He wants everything to be a dream. So he is scared it would not be if he wakes up."

The young man felt only sadness, he could understand why his little brother chose to avoid the truth. But he also knew that his little brother will soon come out, at least to spend time with their mother.

"Why does it take so long, according to my estimation he must have already come out." The young man could not find any reason that his little brother has, to not wake up.

His mother patted his head, " he is using some laws in his coma state, even going to length of forming a barrier around himself so that I don't see what laws he is using."

" isn't that strange? Why must he hide something from you mom? What do you think those laws are?" The young man felt confused about his little brother's actions.

" well, he has his barrier blocking me, so I really don't know what he is doing. But I am sure that the reason he did not come out yet, has something to do with me." His mother told him.

The young man nodded, he saw his mother once more before asking, " is there no way that we can avoid mother's death."

His mother lightly sighed, "well, it would be a lie to tell there are no ways to save me."

"Everything was born from silence. Light,Darkness,Chaos and the other ten primal forces all came from silence."

"So every thing started from zero, it followed the laws of silence and that's how everything came to be. If we are able to create the laws of Silence and have enough energy to use these laws, it is possible for a soul the same as me to be born, this can be called rebirth in a way."

" but to comprehend the laws of silence, one must return to silence. This means your soul must disintegrate, if your soul disintegrates, then there is no reincarnation. It is impossible to comprehend the laws of silence and enter the cycle of rebirth."

" and the the amount of energy, one needs to make these laws function is comparable to half the energy all the Thirteen Primal Forces contain, this is also impossible to achieve."

The young man's face turned gloomy, well it was not as impossible as his mother said to achieve half the energy of the thirteen primal forces, it was just that this energy came at a cost.

If he and Koka use every last bit of strength in them, they can achieve it. koka's strength is many times more than his. If she was the second strongest being in the world, no one would dare proclaim they are the strongest.

Being the strongest, she also held the most powerful position in the world, she is the queen of Darkness Realm.

Darkness realm, the land of the souls. It is  the destination of all the free souls, one must return to Darkness realm for rebirth.

There, the souls are subjected to tests of will power. If you survive the test, your soul will be reborn after it loses its memories. If you fail to survive the tests, you soul disintegrates, returning to silence.

Even though Darkness Realm was koka's Domain, it is the only realm which can restrict koka's power.

She never leaves the Darkness realm, for her presence itself can destroy everything. If one wants to fight koka, they must at least have a primal body to qualify.

Even though she was the queen of the realm, the realm itself was ruled by two other factions. The 'Underworld Palace' and the 'Dark Trents'.

These two factions were in constant struggle to eliminate each other due to their racial differences making the realm chaotic.

But the two factions had a tactic understanding to never provoke Koka.

Even though Koka's power was restricted in the Darkness realm, making her no different than a normal girl, she had a Spear with her.

This Spear acts on its own roaming the realm as it sees fit. Sometimes it would attack the Underworld Palace, while some other times it would attack the Dark Trents.

The worst thing is, they are powerless facing this spear. It was strong, being qualified to be Koka's weapon showed how powerful it is, but it had a playful temper.

Attacking everyone it sees and everyone it likes, it even scolds them for being too weak, thus adding fuel to fire. Being playful can be tolerated, but it even dares to kill and tell it was just playing.

When both races could not accept it's behavior any more, for the first time in history, both the factions joined hands and made their way to Koka's palace.

But the damn spear, it blocked the gates of the palace and attacked anyone who tried to bypass it. Facing its shamelessness the two races endured, and time passed.

All the residents of Darkness Realm went to Koka's palace when it was the end of year. They are graced with the queen's presence on the last day of the year, every year.

Koka came out and addressed the residents, she was just a fragile lady in the residents eyes, they have never seen her take a step out of the realm, so they believed that she was only a normal girl who inherited the throne through heritage.

When the 'Underworld Palace Chief' and The 'Trent king' demanded a explanation for her spear. She looked at her Spear and told it not to attack the innocents.

Soon new year started in the Darkness realm, the spear also changed its behavior. It became even more arrogant, it attacked everyone it came across and killed at least five per day.

The residents of Darkness realm shut their doors and stayed indoors every day. The 'Underworld palace chief' entered secluded cultivation as soon as he got the news, the same happened with the 'Trent King'.

Now the spear roamed free on the deserted streets, whistling to itself. The Palace and trents even took advantage of the spear, cleverly.

They left all the criminals of their palace on the streets, the spear also accepted its prey without any feeling. It would punish these fellows the way it sees fit. Killing them when she wants to.

The crime rate in the Darkness realm decreased steeply. It became one of the most peaceful realms ever.

One year passed and it was time for Koka to address the residents again. But when she looked at the faces which looked as if basking in peace, she became loss for words.

What happened in the year she was in her palace. How did the Underworld Palace and The Dark trents who usually jump at each other throats at first sight, look so peaceful standing beside each other now.

She still addressed the crowd, telling that the realm must advocate peace and live together.

She was still surprised until she returned to her palace, she then shook her head, not caring anymore.

The residents of Darkness realm all understood one thing. There is only one rule in this realm, obey the 'Overlord Spear' you live, defy the 'Overlord Spear' you die.

They also built a shrine to worship the spear.

Little kids are put in line using the spear as the threat." The spear will come to you, no matter how strong, no matter how much of a backing, no matter how handsome you are, if you defy the spear, you die."

The children were also understanding and learned to behave like the good kids they were supposed to be.

Now when the enemies of the Darkness realm attack it by infiltrating their streets, they face the spear. Soon the number of enemies to the Darkness realm reduced to zero.

It became one of the most visited realm for its peace, only second to the Buddha realm.

The spear of Darkness, the supreme Deity of Darkness realm, became one of the most widely discussed Deity.
